    Grouch's balance video was so unbelievably cursed but it inspired me to actually think of ways I would change some TF2 weapons again.

    I think a scout item thats like a lance with a lunge mechanics for a sub class would be fun, call it the squire

    The catch they missed about the Hurl is that there's a reason why melee weapons never become disabled except for the Spycicle, and that's that players need a 'permanent' weapon as backup when their other weapons are out of ammo or on cooldown. Spy's exception is that his Sapper is always available, so he's allowed to lose the Spycicle. So I like the idea of the Hurl just being broken and having greatly reduced damage rather than being completely disabled because theoretically the Scout would be left empty-handed if he ran out his primary and secondary ammo after using it.

    Stickier bomb launcher is a really good idea, and i think the ability to shoot stickies that's already in the game would help prevent griefing.
    That being said valve definitely thought of stickies sticking to enemies at one point and decided against it
