So me and my best friend have been friends for almost 7 years now, but I’m starting to notice some of these signs in him. He’d always ask me if I wanted to hang out with him at this French park (none of us were French but it was the best playground to hang out at) and every time we went to the park it would always be kind of late and we would just chill and maybe do stuff on our phones. After a while, he started to make sex jokes with me but in my mind I thought they were funny to the point where I would try and make some with him as well. We were making them so much and at one point he started to joke around with moaning or stuff like that. Soon after that he started to get a little touchy around me, ask me if we could both be sitting on the same swing, back-to-back, there were times where he would jump on my swing and put his legs around my back, and he would pressure me to do the same. This went on for a while, but I didn’t say anything because I believed he was a good person and I didn’t want to be mean or anything ~_~. He then made this little mini game where we are on the bridge where one person has to try and break free (lots of ramming into each other) and the other has to try and stop them from leaving the bridge. If I tried to go on the slide he’d put his legs around me and try to talk about life while he’s literally feeling my muscles and basically just squeezing me with his arms around my chest, and legs around my chest as well. Me being insecure and lonely I kind of just sat there like an idiot (a little harsh on me but I’m always harsh on me haha xd) Im not sure if I’m homo myself yet because I’m a little bi if I’m being honest but I always end up thinking about him at night, dreading over what he does to me, and what he wanted me to do to him. It kind of seems like he has feelings for me but they are just very deep and private. I’m still not sure though cause I tried asking him recently like in a deep conversation if he was gay and what all of the touching was about. He always told me he was joking, but I was not so sure. He would still put his legs around me and hell even if I trip to the ground he’ll try to sit on me and put his legs around my chest again and he’ll be acting as if he’s trying to screw me (sex acting basically) and whenever he comes over or when I go over to his house he tries to get us both alone in the basement and then he starts touching me and the other stuff all over again. Whenever he comes over to my place though I noticed he dosent do it as often because I have 2 sisters, my mom and her bf. So there were a lot of people walking around the house. So it would never happen as much at my house but if nobody else was in the house, he’d try to play some more of those touch games and he’ll force me to piggyback him around the room or on the floor and he would let me do the same to him afterwards. But then what was kind of like intense and Augh idk was that one day he asked if he came over because he had a bad day and of course I said sure because we were still good friends. Nobody was hole but that day after like an hour we were playing on my Nintendo switch, he lost in the game and he was pretending to rage, we also made jokes about that. But all of a sudden, he snatches my Kirby action figure from the living room (aka Kirby amibo) and I tried to get it back but he went in my room and I was trying to grab it from his hands, he got me into an awkward position on my bed and he was ontop of me, back-to-chest, and I was still trying to grab it and he was like giggling but then he turned around so it was now chest-to-chest. He just stared at me for like five seconds, and he hugged me and put his legs around me. It was so strange. But I managed to squirm myself out of there, and I got my Kirby amibo back so now he didn’t have a reason to be on me or anything. For the duration of that time we just played more Nintendo but then he left and looked at me in a charming way. I had no idea how to react. Every time I try and ask him about what he does he just says he’s joking but I’m seriously thinking that he has feelings for me, I just don’t know how to get him to admit it because it seems so real, and I cried every night constantly filled with thoughts and thinking about it. I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. Also, most people are pretty much comfortable enough to be naked around someone and have sex with someone that they have no romantic feelings towards. So sex isn't really a thing about romance. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner is. Also, you would more likely be much closer to a person who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.
Also, there are a lot of toxic romantic relationships, while there isn't that many toxic platonic relationships. He was so sweet, and teased me, and my old crush came up in some old Kahoots we were replaying and he said "that's old news", and he brought me my fav chocolates!!! I think I'm falling in love with him!! I'm hopeful we will sometime next year, since i won't be able to see him much. I'm just concerned about the fact that his sister is one of my best friends. So me and my best friend have been friends for almost 7 years now, but I’m starting to notice some of these signs in him. He’d always ask me if I wanted to hang out with him at this French park (none of us were French but it was the best playground to hang out at) and every time we went to the park it would always be kind of late and we would just chill and maybe do stuff on our phones. After a while, he started to make sex jokes with me but in my mind I thought they were funny to the point where I would try and make some with him as well. We were making them so much and at one point he started to joke around with moaning or stuff like that. I didn’t really take interest into it but he insisted so I ended up moaning with him and it was kind of weird if you ask me but we didn’t really have anything else to do anyways so um yeah. Soon after that he started to get a little touchy around me, ask me if we could both be sitting on the same swing, back-to-back, there were times where he would jump on my swing and put his legs around my back, and he would pressure me to do the same. This went on for a while, but I didn’t say anything because I believed he was a good person and I didn’t want to be mean or anything ~_~. He then made this little mini game where we are on the bridge where one person has to try and break free (lots of ramming into each other) and the other has to try and stop them from leaving the bridge. If I tried to go on the slide he’d put his legs around me and try to talk about life while he’s literally feeling my muscles and basically just squeezing me with his arms around my chest, and legs around my chest as well. Me being insecure and lonely I kind of just sat there like an idiot (a little harsh on me but I’m always harsh on me haha xd) Im not sure if I’m homo myself yet because I’m a little bi if I’m being honest but I always end up thinking about him at night, dreading over what he does to me, and what he wanted me to do to him. It kind of seems like he has feelings for me but they are just very deep and private. I’m still not sure though cause I tried asking him recently like in a deep conversation if he was gay and what all of the touching was about. He always told me he was joking, but I was not so sure. He would still put his legs around me and hell even if I trip to the ground he’ll try to sit on me and put his legs around my chest again and he’ll be acting as if he’s trying to screw me (sex acting basically) and whenever he comes over or when I go over to his house he tries to get us both alone in the basement and then he starts touching me and the other stuff all over again. Whenever he comes over to my place though I noticed he dosent do it as often because I have 2 sisters, my mom and her bf. So there were a lot of people walking around the house. So it would never happen as much at my house but if nobody else was in the house, he’d try to play some more of those touch games and he’ll force me to piggyback him around the room or on the floor and he would let me do the same to him afterwards. But then what was kind of like intense and Augh idk was that one day he asked if he came over because he had a bad day and of course I said sure because we were still good friends. Nobody was hole but that day after like an hour we were playing on my Nintendo switch, he lost in the game and he was pretending to rage, we also made jokes about that. But all of a sudden, he snatches my Kirby action figure from the living room (aka Kirby amibo) and I tried to get it back but he went in my room and I was trying to grab it from his hands, he got me into an awkward position on my bed and he was ontop of me, back-to-chest, and I was still trying to grab it and he was like giggling but then he turned around so it was now chest-to-chest. He just stared at me for like five seconds, and he hugged me and put his legs around me. It was so strange. But I managed to squirm myself out of there, and I got my Kirby amibo back so now he didn’t have a reason to be on me or anything. For the duration of that time we just played more Nintendo but then he left and looked at me in a charming way. I had no idea how to react. Every time I try and ask him about what he does he just says he’s joking but I’m seriously thinking that he has feelings for me, I just don’t know how to get him to admit it because it seems so real, and I cried every night constantly filled with thoughts and thinking about it. I’m starting to love him but I think I need more than one opinion on this. Please I need your guys’s thought or opinions. Do y’all’s think he is in love with me, or is it all just baloney?

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death.
Also, most people are pretty much comfortable enough to be naked around someone and have sex with someone that they have no romantic feelings towards. So sex isn't really a thing about romance.
I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner is. Also, you would more likely be much closer to a person who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a partner or spouse.
People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.
Also, there are a lot of toxic romantic relationships, while there isn't that many toxic platonic relationships. Like an example is that abuse happens a lot in romantic relationships, while abuse is rare in platonic relationships. So there is a lot of abusive romantic relationships, while there is isn't that many abusive platonic relationships.
Why do you think abusive romantic relationships have a term for them called "domestic violence", while abusive platonic relationships don't have a term for them? It's because abuse in platonic relationships are very rare, while abuse in romantic relationships happens a lot.
And also, a lot of people cheat on their romantic partners with someone else, while most people won't do stuff like that with their platonic best friends.
Also, I heard that most people can live a life without romance and can still be happy. But most of the time, if someone doesn't have any platonic friends in their life, it can effect them really bad mentally; much worse than living a life without a romantic partner. In today's world, less people are dating and getting married now, and they seem to be more happy being single rather than being in romantic relationship with someone.
Also, you're going to have a much deeper spoken understanding and connection with your best friend than you are with a romantic partner or spouse.
So those are other reasons why romantic love isn't real or special, while platonic love is.
And also, it seems that fathers usually hate it whenever their daughter gets a boyfriend (even if the boyfriend is a good guy), and it seems that they often hate the idea of their daughter dating, and many fathers seem against the idea of their daughters dating. There are even shirts made for daughters that say "I'M NOT ALLOWED TO EVER DATE" and shirts made for fathers that say "DADS AGAINST DAUGHTERS DATING".
Brothers also tend to act the same way that fathers do whenever their sister gets a boyfriend (even if the boyfriend is a good guy). It seems brothers (like fathers) hate the idea of their sisters dating.
So it seems that most fathers don't ever want their daughters to find love and be in a romantic relationship with someone, and it also seems that most brothers don't ever want their sisters to find love and be in a romantic relationship with someone.
So those could also be other reasons why the concept of romantic relationships isn't a good thing because of how protective fathers and brothers tend to be whenever their daughter or sister dates someone.
Also, here are 13 reasons why your best friend is more important than your romantic partner or spouse is:
