Thanks for the update, I’m contemplating switching to a pixel 9 to run Gemini smoothly. Note: There’s a humming coming from your mic, reduce sensitivity and bring mic closer.
I've created several Gems. Absolutely love it! For example, as an English learner, I created a Gem called English Beautifier which fixes typos, grammar mistakes and make the sentence more idiomatic. It saves me the prompt "Help me improve these sentences: ...".
Two questions.... 1 - Can we keep a GEM private so other people can not have access to it? 2 - Can we share it with people that do not have a paid account?
Does Gems basically just a save a prompt? In other words, you could just paste your Gems instructions into a regular chat prompt and get the same AI reply?
It seems it keeps the instructions "initiator" in the prompting. So, this is a basic idea of the agents, but I don't see gems can use tools, or define whether it needs to access a tool or not.

They are terrible for that. read your very same commentary somewhere else😂. Google gems are terrible.
@AlexandreLuiz-ph8ns It's very useful for me as an English learner.
Thanks for sharing!
Good Video Brother, Keep posting.
If I upload pdfs to a gem , will it always use those sources , or does it just stay on that chat

I don't like the advanced version, with the same piece better claude or chatgpt plus
Agree with ya here. Gemini is my least favorite out of ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Gemini. So much potential, but it's not there for front-end users.
Gemini will not search the web ever.
it's actually gotten surprisingly better. I've had a handful of videos showing this over the past year and a half, but might have to update.
