As it searches hundreds of sites (real time) to build up its research findings, it builds up processed data aka knowledge. Knowledge that it can leverage for the next research requests on adjacent topics. Leverage, reuse and scaling up. Pretty powerful.
I love Perplexity and use it multiple times a day. I think for light research for an everyday user it will remain valuable. For academics, and specific longform projects, this is wow.
Great video as usual. Yes please do a comparison video. I currently have the paid version of perplexity, and I just signed up for the paid version of Deep Research. However, I don't have the paid version of ChatGPT. I'm curious if I will need the paid version in order to iterate or will the free version suffice. I'm interested in your opinion on this.
Fantastic for doing all the research of RUclips Script. Now you could easily get every possible detail of a story and then compress it into an engaging script. 🎉
Thank you. If you were so generous as to do so, this could inspire a series of related videos addressing: Is there present or future integration of Google Scholar? How can one do something like 'deep research' using the various specialist trained LLMs ou there? Ditto the Allen Institute's OpenScholar AI that is trained on all open source scientific literature? Ditto AIs training with proprietary literature ? (eg Microsoft bought rights to Wiley and Taylor&Francis). Anything you can do would be great and greatly appreciated
You mentioned you had Gemini Advanced both on your personal Gmail and Workspace account. Can you please let me know which is the best one to sign up under? There seems to be a difference in pricing and features. Thanks
I just conducted research with Google deep research asking to cover phones and tablets for the last 2 years and the report came with 2022 and 2023, so at least one year old results. How can that be even remotely compared with perplexity that provides real-time web search?
The question is, is this tool less inclined to completely lie about its sources in the way that other AI tools are frequently guilty of? I s2g Bing and even Perplexity hallucinate for like almost half their claims
I've got it up to 451 websites it researched
wait, in one go??
@justtiredthings Correct
please can you send the link of the research you done? want to read it
Students and and anyone in academia will love this tool. Also business and anyone doing any type of project will need this deep research tool. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾
