The Gallifreyan Gamer Hopefully they tone that down in some certain places. While it looks great mostly, let's be honest, that last Carnotaurus where they take the photo looks funny (his lower half does anyways). Plus I feel it takes the "jump" out of the moment since you can see it coming. I'm sure they'll get it worked out, or at least I hope they do lol
It seems like they took away more than they added. Some of the animatronics barely move and the sounds have been turned down or turned off. Also, it seems like they moved back some of the animatronics like the first carnotarus.

Kelk Yeah it has been years since I last rode this and it was closed for the refurb the last time I went to Disney. This is also one of my favorite rides.
Doesn't look like a heck of a lot new, but I do like the new time tunnel effects and the new compy projections! Shame that the dinosaur eating the lizard animatronic wasn't working.
True, but it's also cool to see that they put back the effects of making it feel like the Carnatouraus actually is chasing you with the footsteps right behind the vehicle. They came with the ride when it first opened with the park in 1998, but were taken away to make the ride more timid for younger riders after the movie came out! I can't wait to ride it next year (just as long as it doesn't close down then too)! LOL

Honestly I think this was the best lighting because you could see everything and still not give the secrets away.

yea I understand but we all agree this refurb has made this ride looks better than it did after they changed it to dinosaur back in 2000

I miss the old time travel sound and effect.
Many of the early effects (including chasing Carnotaurus surround audio) back on or recreated in a new way. Best the ride has looked in 15 years
