You solved my solo scoring issue. I had no idea that you subtracted those values from the cards at the end. I had scored 80-something in my first game which was literally off the scoring chart good...I knew that couldn't be right lol. Thanks for the vid.
Great explanation & playthrough! Another great video!! I am really enjoying your content. They are all very well done & edited. One thing I did notice. Did you not score another Dwarvenhold for the 4th column from the left at 30:49?
Thanks. That is very nice of you to say. I can't believe I missed that extra Dwarvenhold. I'm very bad at spacial puzzles and seeing the shapes. The funny thing is I really shouldn't have been able to place that single house at the end to complete another Dwarvenhold, so my score would end up the same. Sometimes two wrongs do make a right! 😂
Great question. The rules are unclear on this point. My understanding is you can rotate the hero attack pattern just like other shapes. Thanks for the question!
Hi Shaggi, Still playing Heroes (with an attack of sciatica) ! Anyway, here is a question: I think I am right in assuming the square where the hero is is a filled space but where he is attacking can be crayoned, right ? That is the way I have been playing it ! A little puzzle for you,Shaggie ....bet the children will like it: Draw a cube, draw a horizontal line from top left to bottom right and then another from top right to bottom left giving you a square with a cross within a square the n,put a roof on top (obviously an upside down V). It looks like a house now. BUT: can you draw same "house" without lifting your pencil not once ? I was seven when my grandfather told me the puzzle and I ended up filling pages but got it right in the end 😊😊😊 Sorry for my h nonsense....just a break from Cartographers Heroes. AaKR.
Hey, Apollonia! Good to hear from you! I play Heroes in the way you describe so I believe that is correct. I'll definitely show my kids that puzzle. My oldest enjoys brain teasers like that and he is pretty good at them. Thanks! Have a great day!
In Germany the game is called »Das ist das Haus vom Ni-ko-laus«. As you draw each line you say out loud a syllable. I think it'll work in English, too: ”This is the house of - d'oh! - This is the - d'oh! - This is the house of San-ta Clause! - Yay!“
"Shagland, sound's good" 😂
It is a great place to live! 🤣

Hi! A question: may I rotate heroes´ attacking shapes or do I have to draw them as they are?
