I've seen people get lynched on the sales floor and walk out with a smile simply because they thought the person was nice and wasn't pushy yet the sales person makes an extra 5000 on the back end even though they are convinced they got a good deal, i've also seen people get angry when they actually get an amazing deal because the seller didn't manipulate them into a false sense of security, people simply want to be convinced they did the right thing but they wouldn't know what a good deal looks like even if it hit them in the face ...
The minute you decide to rely on someone else to dictate your purchasing power then you've lost control over the situation ...
Arm yourself with knowledge and understand the market, cross reference out the door price points from multiple dealers this information is available to you ONLINE, assess what you're willing to pay for it and what the competitors are offering and set reasonable expectations, print out your annual free credit report to evaluate your score, and for gods sakes know what you want before you step foot into a dealership.
Understand these people have to provide for their families so don't get upset when they try to extract as much value from you ... Its the second biggest purchase you'll ever make so its safe to assume that you'd actually know what that item is worth and what you're willing to pay for it but most people don't ... they let the sales person decide that for them because they are clueless.

But i have noticed that when i am telling the truth and someone doesnt believe me and it's something trivial, i tend to overreact and it reinforces their idea that I am lying. I like the nice touch of her wig, and the boxy suit that makes her body shape hard to define. The way she keeps talking with her palms up feels like a deliberate gesture, to signal to the subconscious that one should trust her, and all that she's saying. It's a good method for public speakers to appeal to the public, to seem warm and trustworthy.
In CIA training, everything is a test. One shouldn't just focus on what they're told to focus on, but also focus on the person/people who are trying steer their attention, and look for consistencies/inconsistencies in their movements and behaviors.
Her entire presentation of self was deception, and I find that rather amusing.

This video has very low volume. I turned my big surround sound speakers all the way up and could barely hear her. Also the subtitle button in the top right doesn’t work. Horrible.

People are always deceptive to save their own asses when they're on the line but the people that I cannot stand the most are the ones that lie so good and their excuses are so legit most of the time and you really have to watch them hard to bust their ass f****** around with your head

Why does all good content always have poor audio & sound? Needs more video examples. I get lost in all the talk without showing. But thats me because I am not to bright

I like the techniques but I don't understand the application. What does it matter if she is lying in a deposition? Don't you still need documents and other proof? Wouldn't you want a dishonest person to lie as much as possible on video so you can prove they are a liar later?

Statement analysis alone is enough. Body language is not a reliable indicator, not everyone can interpret it right and you need time to establish the baseline. While statement analysis is very reliable, you don't need much time to establish a baseline and it is something that is not subjective, what a person tells you is a fact and not something you might have seen or not.

This vid is a commercial for her books, she doesn't really say much that you can use. Don't waste your time watching it.

Video needs to be resubmitted with the volume readjusted. Even with headphones, some parts are not audible.

If any of this was credible, there wouldn't be any need for trials. It is all bullschiff. People react according to millions of bits of background and personality that are unique to that person.

The presenter framed the person's verbal and nonverbal responses as "deception", which isn't fair IMO. They may tend to be indicators of deception across a population but characterizing them as deceptive is a way too strong. Years ago, a large focus was on which way the person's eyes shifted in response to a question. I suppose thats now out of favor?
