What benefits does cleaning give? I’m doing a reseal job and am about to reinstall the assembly. I didn’t take them apart to clean them but I will if there is a big benefit
The FE oils through the rocker shaft. I had a lot of fine metal particles in it and just gunk. Keeps all that stuff out of your engine and also makes sure rocker arms stay oiled in case you have a lot of buildup in the shaft. Also cleaned all my rocker arms.
@@Erics_Garage I just inspected mine and they’re really clean so I’m going to skip this part but I’ll link this video in my description. Keep up the good work. The shaft on my assembly is still silver, no yellowing.
Awesome you should be fine then. Mine was pretty gross as was the whole engine.
