Hiking the Grasslands on the Snow

I hiked on the snow through the middle grasslands of Lac du Bois Grasslands Protected Area and went out to the Long Lake Lookout, then the Grasslands Esker, and finished the loop route past Island Lake on a sunny-cloudy winter day.

used to hunt on the other side of the main road that u started off at, lots of white tail and mule deer as well up in the tree line. gotta be careful though private property which is why lots of deer retreat to it during light hours lol
