We just did this from I-17 to Sedona a couple of days ago in a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Totally stock, just aired down. The trail is not technical at all, just bumpy on the lower half. Go slow and you won't get beaten to death. Great views at the Overlook.
I just did Schnebly Hill today in my Chavy Colorado. I came from I17 and just coasted down from there. The last 3 or 4 miles I was wishing for it to end because I was tired was the bumps but easy overall. beautiful drive.
I have a highly modified rig, just uncomfortable due to rocks. Good views but much better trails around. Good video.
Going just to get my badge, looks easy enough
Just finished doing Schnebly Hill from Sedona to 17, then turned around and drove it back. About 2 and a half hours each way. The Views are incredible, When coming from Sedona its very rough all the way to the Schnebly Vista. In this section you must have fur wheel drive with Off road tires. Be sure to air down to 12 PSI is to save your kidney, Your tires and your shocks. From Schnebly Vista to 17 is a slightly bumpy dirt road that most anyone could do in any vehicle.
I lived in Flagstaff in the late 1970s and actually drove Schnebly Hill in my 1972 Volkswagen Bug. The road has definitely deteriorated since then!
Humm...headed to Sedona.🤔🤔👍👍😎🇺🇸 Good review, Brad👍 Appreciate the psi intel.
Thanks for sharing Brad. As always really enjoyed the scenery and following you on your family adventures off-roading. Looking forward to your next video. Merry Christmas from Canada.
Thank you! Merry Christmas!!

Yes for sure! Miss you guys!
Biggest understatement ever, “It’s a little bumpy.” I Hate Schnebly.
AWESOME scenery
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
@@ProdigalOverland same to you all
WOW!!!! AMAZING!
Thanks
I got 2006 f150 33 tire I drop my psi 16 psi way smooth ride I don’t use my 4x4 at all
Looks fun, I need to make it down to Sedona one of these days!
Yes for sure! It’s a great time!
Schnebly Hill trail used to be a maintained road when I lived there in the 70s, but Coconino County quit maintaining it, so now it’s a “trail”. The county may do some rudimentary work on it!
Interesting information!
Loved the outtakes at the end! Another great vid. Also nice seeing Always Changing Life out there with you. Did you happen to see the offshoot that put an end to my old rock sliders? LOL
We were looking and thought maybe we saw the spot. But we couldn’t tell for sure
@@ProdigalOverland if you were coming from the Sedona side, it would have been on your right just after a 90 degree turn with enough space for a few jeeps to pull off and park.
can this be done in a stock 2017 jeep grand cherokee limited 4wd with at tires. thank you...
Yes. For sure.
Hi Brad, can I ask you why the Trailhawk is better in off-road than the Overland? I’m thinking about what to buy...
Thanks in advance!

Hello! And Merry Christmas! The overland models in the us have 20 inch wheels which aren’t great for off road purposes. And the overland doesn’t have the rear electronic slip differential or the skid plates. The trailhawk also has a larger rear axle. Hope that helps
I don’t understand why this is a badge of honor trail. It’s just bumpy.
Another great video. I was wondering how long did it take you from Sedona to 17?
Merry Christmas Brad and family! I always say how lucky you all are to be together in such places, experiences and adventures as a family! My hat off to you all. Stay safe...and May 2021 be a better year than the horrible one that is about to become history (good riddance!).
Thanks. Merry Christmas to you! And it took about 2 hours to do the trail with time for stops along the way.
Prodigal Overland Thank you! Stay safe. Keep me in mind for off-roading outings as you come East.
That jeep doesn’t look like it has any after market clearance? Does it??

They shut this trail down when it snows.
