There was a time she wanted to buy a condo in Toronto and now she owns a house, not in Toronto but in a place where she could see herself. It's not like she didn't achieve her goal because she did and she also grew up, she realised her happiness lies elsewhere and she worked her way there. She started a new chapter of her life.
I feel like this house is the culmination of you growing (possibly slowly and painfully) into your most authentic self. This year has seemed like such a growth year for you, and we have all enjoyed watching it. It seems so much like you are settling into exactly who you are and who you were meant to be, and this house is just another manifestation of that. It's beautiful to see.

It's so beautiful! We're all so happy for you. Congratulations! My first-time home owner advice would be to sleep in your guest bedroom once or twice a year, or in each season, to make sure the temperature, mattress, pillows, overall situation is comfortable. Our guestroom is on a different floor than our main bedroom, and we never realized how cold it could get until we slept there. Now in the winter we make sure to stock it with a small space heater and extra blankets!
Thats so thoughtful of you. I wonder how many people think to do that.. And what a fun switch just to see. :) my boyfriend loves airbnbs for decorating ideas heh. we love to take lovely ideas home with us. Also, just in case, ive discovered (via cheap parents;) heat rises. If you heat two floors entirely, try heating just downstairs first. But if you have single panes youre better just heating wherever you are with a space heater as you already do.. im sure you already knew that.. hah but just felt the need to reiterate for no other reason than social interaction(even if one sided ahha) and bc im extra loquacious after so much solitude. .::sometimes. I love new home owner stuff. Theres so much to learn!
