Europe is too dependent on American techs, and easily being manipulated by the American authorities like the ASML case. Engaging with the rest of the world is very crucial for Europe to gradually de-risk from the Americans. Our data is completely in the hands of the Americans via Google, FB, Amazon, Apple, RUclips, Uber, X, etc..
And it's especially bonkers given our Netherlands could just threaten to sanction the USA by no longer supplying ASML EUV equipment. They think they have more leverage over the EU but we should show them otherwise
