Love the video! I’m an American, but my family lineage from both parents goes back to Asturias and Basque Country. I was in Asturias last September and drove all over, but barely scratched the surface. I was in awe the whole time…incredibly beautiful. I will definitely return.
Bufones in Pria, a village near Llanes. My village, my country. The place where I grew up. From the 50 beaches, you can see the first line of mountains 2 to 3km away just nearby. If you are courageous and want to see the top of the first 600m mountain, you can do it in 4h knowing the path, the other side is the natural reserve and you have to be careful to descend 4h too, and if you don’t have the material for camping then get off without delay and you’ll have time for a last drink of cider before night time. Never go to the mountain alone and without knowing where are the springs.. Some roads are marked and cross areas where the mountain is beautiful and nature is dominant. It is not very hot as in the rest of Spain but very humid and just pleasant, in summer as in winter it is between 20 and 30 degrees. From 2000 there is snow in some places. The beaches are the cleanest in Europe, many and varied. Without construction less than 1km away
