Loving this set so far. My only gripe with them is their complicated transformations. They are a pain in the butt to get from one mode to the other. Once I get all the figures, they will stay combined for eternity. lol Thanks for the review.
I received mine this morning and have transformed it. I adore it. I completely see why you gave it a 9 for presence. The shapes and colours of both modes are outstanding, but I prefer shark mode. The Unique Toys Rippersnapper was my least favourite of their set, this is my favourite of the three so far from TFC. I thoroughly enjoyed the transformation process and at no time felt that things were going to break. My translucent fins come together cleanly, are you certain that yours are wrong? They both have raised plastic on both sides. I've got mine in shark mode next to me and I can't stop picking it up and admiring it. Taking into account the lack of ankle tilt in robot mode, I give the figure 91%. It's funny how both of the other reviews on RUclips show the robot mode with the claws as feet. You're correct, the official transformation video (which is bad) and the in-box instructions have the claws at the back in robot mode.
Hey glad you got yours! I think the shark mode is superb too. Yes with the fins, I’ve got two ‘left’ ones instead of a left and a right if that makes sense, could be wrong but it seems that they need to be mirrors of each other? Can’t wait to see how the rest shape up, hopefully they come out this year too!

I believe that these are well scaled. Each limb is voyager class and the leader of the group is leader class. I don't think limb bots should be taller than Optimus Prime.
