You should put a couple vents on the hood of the S600 to help extract the heat. You can make up something to keep the water out of the engine bay when it’s raining or during a wash too 👍🏼
Definitely a silly trend. There are always dirt bikes and 4 wheelers in the hood where everything is paved. I guess it's a combination of stolen bikes and drug dealers buying toys.

@effspot.... Regarding the W140 S600 Engine-Temperature-Creep issue. Have seen a couple videos now where you have the hood open to cool the engine down from approaching critical temperatures. Your Fan-Clutch needs to be replaced. Simple test...while engine is idling roll up a few sheets of newspaper (like a couple of flyers) into a tube and stick the end into the fan. It should shred it with extreme prejudice. However, if the fan can be stopped by the paper tube (or even worse pushed in the opposite direction) then your fan clutch is blown. It only engages at idle and engine RPMs under roughly 1500, and is disengaged at any speeds above that as the ram air through the radiator is enough to keep the engine cool while the vehicle is in motion. Good aftermarket units are $60 or less and you can change it yourself in 20 minutes. I got my S600 6 years ago from Japan as well. It had the same issue. Wishing you all the best.

I live near a major metropolitan city on the east coast and if I see one or two Lambo's or Ferrari's rolling around the city it's amazing. There are at least six or seven supercars per block out there. What I don't see in your videos is much racing, just a bunch of rich bois flexing their credit lines from the local dealerships. Back in the 90's I lived in the suburbs and back in the woods off a small back road was an airport that closed in the 70's, but still had 2 runways. We would go out there on a Friday night and there would be 300 people out there, making bon fires and buck wilin' out, people racing for a pile of cash on the 1/4 mile. The town had about 5 cops and they couldn't do shit. They'd break our beer bottles on the runway to try and stop us, but we'd just sweep it up. I remember pushing my friend's dad's '88 Corvette out of the garage after they went to bed, starting it up down the block and going to the airport for some runs. Finally they came in there with some backhoes and tore up the runway. Put an end to the racing, but we still partied back there.
It's just no rear/front bumper and a decent cage. I love the rear light strip but you need a custom kit to really pull it off. Sound mostly stock US spec. Source: have an Ls3/dry sump/caged JDM s2k lol.

Pro tip if your car starts to over heat just a little bit it might be the radiator getting clogged and not letting many airflow through it next time someone takes the front fans off ask them to pressure wash the radiator that might do a improvement
There is a metal piece in the engine that you can have taken out that is for COOLD weather. It would stope your over heating problems. That thing is connected to the water cooling and if your never below freezing just have it removed.
You could try to get someone to ceramic coat the headers and heat wrap them, that will definitely help keep the heat out of the engine bay. And for the overheating you could try to get a fully aluminum radiator with e-fans and a shroud.
Honestly I don't get why cops won't leave people alone having fun. Instead of chasing after revving cars go pull over some granny slow driving on left lane...
