I have actually on SEVERAL occasions used the "shadow cursed hell frost fire daggers" build just because I like how many pretty colors it causes and I usually wear frost armor way up until I get beetle stuff and I was hoping you'd talk about it, and now I am realizing it's basically the focus of this video. Its fun and great support especially since you can swap cursed flames for ichor

It’s a powerful and valid strategy to pincushion a boss with daybreak spears then swap to your primary weapon. And it works on each class since the debuff is uneffected by damage increases. Bringing the real max to 885 dps in debuffs.

Also my goal was as many debuffs in a single *swing*, so I had the Cursed Flame/Hellfire/Frostburn, but instead of using the Shadow Flame Knife, I used the Blade Tongue. Why? I had projectile detecting plates on a wall behind the dummy, that fired a super dart trap, also giving it poison technically caused by the ichor projectile.

the shadowflame knife debuff stacking builds with frost armor are among my favorite ways to play Terraria. It kills the mech bosses extremely well and looks absolutely gorgeous.
Love the shadowflame knife. It was the first new weapon I found when 1.3 first came out and I fell in love with the thing (also the fire transitionnnn :) )
I once used venom arrows with a chlorophyte repeater on my friends in pvp and it melted them. They had post duke fishron gear and post ocram gear (this was back on the old terraria mobile days where ocram was the last boss available) and yet the ivy venom absolutely melted them
"All of these can be made before any harmode boss" well the mechanical glove and a magma stone make the fire gauntlet but to make the mechanical glove you need an avenger emblem and to do that you need any emblem and 5 souls of might, fright and sight
The shadowflame knife build isn't super strong but it sure is pretty to look at. So many colorful particles... dazzling... like a burning rainbow of agonizing pain.
I would Love Having more weapons that use Gel as ammunition, and then crafting recipes for new types on ammunition, imagine a shadowflame or cursed flame Flamethrower

1.4.4 actually added a way to switch armor quickly with the loadouts so getting oil is a little more feasible now. You will need multiple copies of any accessories unfortunately so probably a waste of your time instead of a menu skill gap.

also fargo mod has funny flames of the universe debuff which is all flame debuffs combined, also i think it counts as a unique debuff so you can stack fire debuffs with it aswell for insane dps
The 1.4.4 update changed some of the damage values of debuffs. Please keep that in mind when watching this video :)

The flamethrower is underrated
I pretty much always go for the Quad-Fire build for the mechs when I’m playing Melee, it’s so fun to use.
Bungee becomes Pyro TF2 for 3 minutes and then becomes Sniper and then becomes Pyro again

With the new Feature of 1.4.4 where you can switch loadouts with a Button you could Switch the armor pretty fast
This script was fully written before we knew armor swapping was going to be a thing haha. That feature would allow you to use oiled a lot easier
