    thank you for the excellent review format. A full review through the life of the tire is so much more informative then most reviewers who haven't even scrubbed in the tires yet.
    I think I'll be going with the Mitas e-07's either plus or original when I wear out the Metzeler Tourance Nexts that are OEM on my Tiger GTpro.

    Thanks Pat. FYI I started with the Mitas E10 front and rear. The rear was great but lasted only 3,500km, the front still going at 6000km. Put an E09 on the rear after talking to the Midas rep and so far it's wearing well after 2000km (the E10 and E09 are knobbies). About to do a 5000km trip with lots of tarmac to get to the fun bits so have bought and am about to put on some E07+ front and rear. Will measure before and after and post here when back. Thanks for taking the considerable time to do a full life review.

    Thanks for this review Pat! I run these on my Husqvarna 701. Glad to see they wear well on the big bike. I doubt ill get the mileage you do im much harder on them and I got a big slice in my rear tire at 1k miles so another one is going on tomorrow.

    thanks for your video and thanks for doing the measurements that i always forget to do ;)
    im on my second e07+ on the rear of my 08 vstrom (front still going), i ended up with just under 9k kms on the first rear, there was a fair bit of throttle jockying involved both on the dirt and tar roads tho. wore very nicely with no surprises at any time, hot cold wet and dry 👍

      I was pretty easy on my tire to be honest. I am currently testing the Dunlop Mission. We'll see how that goes early summer it should be shot.

    Have you ever noticed that you corner harder on right bends than left bends? Look at the hero blobs on your rear. None left on the right, still hairy on the last line of tread on the left! I have these on my 21 KTM 690er and they are incredible tires giving much better off-road grip even in deep mud than you could possibly believe and fantastic dry grip on the road (no hero knobs at all left on mine either side!) However, I think we have somewhat different riding styles because my rear is toast by 5,000 miles and the front by 7000. I do ride my 690 like a Super Motard though so that is understandable and the tires are cheap compared to anything else out thee as good. I was going to move to a more aggressive tire because I do serious off-road but to my surprise they just kept hooking up in the dirt and I keep up with buddies on EXC 250/350/500's wearing far more aggressive rubber so frankly, for now I am staying with them. Best compromise to date if you want to ride hard on the street as well as off-road.

      Yeah I am not as aggressive as I used to be. Turned more into a cruiser rider now than ever lol.

      Yeah it depends on who's article you read. I read some say 50/50 and others say 60/40. But regardless I like them lol Wow had to come back and edit this for the dumb typos I made on the phone. Didn't catch any of them lol.

      So far so good. Always trying to find that mix of offroad traction and longevity. Very good on road and dirt. Mud you always want more bite. I think I will try the Motoz Tractionator next and compare them. I do like the E-07 though. I have about 1,700 miles on it so far.

    I noticed you have not worn out the little needles on the side of your tyres, so you do not lean the bike too much to really try traction on the highway. I wonder how they perform there.

    When you say Dunlop at the end of the video, did you mean the Missions? I'm on a 600lbs ADV and I can say they really feel squirrelly in deep sand and in mud. How did the Mitas E07+ do in mud of more than two inches?

    • @PatsAdventuresTravels
      @PatsAdventuresTravels  3 года назад +1

      Yes I meant the new Trailmax Mission. As for the mud, no idea. Never been in anything like that. I am mostly pavement and dirt road rider. Not a real off roader.

    • @D.E.X
      @D.E.X 3 года назад

      @@PatsAdventuresTravels My mud was encountered on a gravel road. My bikes a DL1000XAL8. The original Bridgestone Battlewings (80/20) felt better on muddy roads. The Trailmax Mission felt like they were trying to washout. Wear is supposed to be the same as the Mitas E07+ but I have only a couple hundred miles on the Trailmax Mission. I'm and experienced rider, tarmac, gravel, and dirt. Maybe I'll get to like these as the weather dries out, but I was looking for a compromise tire, which means dirt/wet as well.
