One thing I have all ways wondered the fire service ambulance are they for everyone and are they free in a way
Ethan.Dalton they are for everyone but they are not free. Here in the states large cities have their own Ambulances but within that city are also private ambulance companies.

Ethan.Dalton Only if a patient is at a hospital with something that can’t be treated at that certain hospital resulting in the patient needing to be transported to another hospital by ambulance services will an ambulance be free because the Hospital requested the ambulance.

There many ambulances that uses different colors like yellow, green, blue etc.
Superior Ambulance has the contract for the Chicago Bears EMS stand-by, I believe that is one of the ambulances assigned to it on game days, hence the colors, but otherwise it's on the street as a normal ambulance. To be fair though, Superior Ambulance has some weird colored rigs, like brow, yellows, purple, green. They also have a lot of specialty designs on them, like for certain hospitals or that have their AIRMED-1 on it.
Thought I read somewhere that Superior intentionally does the different colors and designs as a marketing gimmick.
Jeremy Bell you sir are correct... most are dedicated for the different contracts that superior has.
@@jer789610 The one in this video is in fact for the Bears, the black/white was originally for the Sox, the Red/white I think for the Hawks. I can’t remember the origins of the purple one
