Now the purpose of this file also contains something important; compatible versions, if the mod is from a different version it might result in it being incompatible and you being unable to use it. So what you want to do is rename the compatible version to the current one you have (e.g compatible version is 1.41, you edit it to 1.45). When looking back at the mod manager the mod will become compatible and you will be able to use it.
They should add a feature for these mods to be updated automatically and any mod for any version, for example, we are playing 1.45, but for example traffic AI by jazzycat is for 1.36, SCS should add these features. And another one is the feature of the mod, for example, "ATS Trucks in ETS2" then we can go into the details of that mod, then maybe what I don't like is in the game or becomes a mod, I can disable it from the active mode. For example, in the details of the ATS wheels pack. Because I don't like it I can disable it and then, when I hit the "Save Changes" option in this mod, instead of ATS wheels, they will turn into ETS2 wheels, this will definitely be a great feature!

Depends. If you are installing a map mod, the load order is important. That should be in the download page. Normal mods (usually) don't have that necessity. Apart from some mods. This happens when one mod needs other mod to work

If it is not showing up in game, the game is not recognising now. Watch again that part where I have 3 different files to put on the mod folder and double check with what you have

Depends on the mod. Watch part where I talk about mod extracting. You need to make sure the file you put on the mod folder is a .zip or a .scs. If you need more help, pls visit my discord
Well, an .scs file you will see a blanket file, just like what I show in the video. In the .exe usually it has a image in the clickable thinky. Also an .exe is dangerous if you install it on pc. Even if you put .exe in the mod folder, it shouldn't bring any problems to you (theoretically)

When you subscribe steam should download them. If they are not in the manager, they are not downloaded which is weird. If you go back to the mod page, does the button say subsribe or subscribed? Another thing you can try is verify the game integrity. Any file you are missing, steam will download
Go to your config through notepad and find g_console and g_developer, change both of them from 0 (by default) to 1. Once they are enabled, try tapping the "~" key on your keyboard.

I would advise 7zip. But you can use winrar. Some of the mods need to be extracted from the rar or zip. Some do not.

You can do it, but if you run into issues it might give you headaches. Do a backup of the profile, just in case
