if this comes to HSR and that free currency is credits... it gonna be fun
I would say if it's gonna be free currency then it should be the fragment you got when you do gacha.
After all skin is premium thing, and those fragment can only be obtain by doing gacha. So people could get the character and the skin just by pulling. A free skin.
Highly doubt it'll be credits since they're so easy to obtain, I assume it'll be jades, the stardust you gain from warps or its own seperate currency.

I hope the Kafka's costume won't be as low effort as what genshin's wardrobe is for their paid skins of their characters

2nd rerun? It would be her third. She reran with Ratio release in 1.6, she ain't coming back so soon.

But that being said I wished the first skin would be for one of the free units because I don’t personally have Kefka.
So even if it’s finally happening cool but it’s lame if they are adding just one and for a limited character at that.
So unless they make her Free like Dr. R ( witch isn’t asking for that much because she has rerun once alrdy )
so it’s not likely they’ll miss out on a Ton of money compared to a brand new unit.
And Dr. R isn't even that free since he's only available until the end of 2.1, meaning he's back to being a limited character like he's supposed to for anyone who joins in 2.2 onward
I would argue Kafka would be the perfect start for skins for characters, for a while she was the most anticipated unit and is still a character that is quite future proof as every dot character synergizes well with her, not to mention how popular of a character she is, some people playing the game solely to get her at the time. She's a unit that practically everybody has, and is considered a must pickup if you wanna use dot teams.
they can’t make a character free when they were recently gacha or else they would need some sort of compensation for players. the backlash would be crazy

March doesn't have a skin in game, it's only featured in cutscenes through a event.

That outfit is part of her new form, not really a actual skin which is a separate thing that is just purely cosmetic.

I've never played Honkai 3rd, I've only browsed the Wiki a couple of times. So I may be misunderstanding something here. But as far as I've seen a lot (ignoring color variants) of the alternative skins for the characters in that game also change their gameplay??

Nowadays you play games for free...and pay to play even less in some cases. Now people are hyped when devs release something where you have to pay money again... this is just wrong. I doupt you will get the skin with ingame currency.
