I always thought it was odd that Dan Heng never fully transforms into a dragon. I imagine it he gets other forms it will represent his escalatiom towards becoming a dragon.

there was supposedly a leak that said 5* characters would get alternate forms, similar to Battlesuits in Honkai Impact 3rd. Initially it said Welt, Himeko, Kafka and Silver Wolf would be among the first but that was seemingly delayed... it would be cool if DHIL's first "Battlesuit" were Fire Preservation and Phainon's "Battlesuit" was Quantum 🙏 ...i just really need a male Quantum please please PLEASE

This is an opinion that many might not agree with but I do not think Dan Heng will get a new playable version. All of the Chrysos Heirs are most likely expys of the Flamechasers from HI3. There is a character named Kosma among them who does look similar to Dan Heng with a quiet personality. Also writing wise it wouldn't make sense for Dan Heng to become a Chrysos Heir as that would tie him to Amphoreus and he is already tied to the Astral Express and the Luofu. Edit: Made wording more concise.
