When you finally swore! 🤣😂 You aren't human, sir. You are SUPER human! I don't think I've ever watched a RUclips video for that long, but man I really wanted you to finish it! I tip my hat to YOU! Amazing attempt, and I enjoyed watching! Well done sir!
Dude it was so frustrating. I made another attempt literally just now (without recording) and on the second E match lost my mind again. I guess when you’re young these patterns are easier to get and then eventually turn into muscle memory, but at my age I feel like I get worse every time lol I appreciate the comment my friend thanks for watching 👊🏼
Darryl, don't give up man. This video was actually fun to watch, first time heard you swear and i broke 😂. Practice the methods and do another one of this!
Daryl, you’ll get there brother! Listen it is entertaining to watch even if you did get hung up on the triple endurance match. Please give it another go soon!😊
I admire your efforts. That game looks tough. I understand about the MK2 difficulty. I’m still practicing the Raiden sweep and jump forward tactic. The timing is tough.
Note that this version of Ultimate MK3 is a hack version meaning the AI plays much differently from the actual arcade game. Noob Saibot in this version had his MK Trilogy AI rather than his arcade AI whereas on the Super NES and Sega Genesis versions of Ultimate MK3 Noob Saibot used his arcade AI. The arcade AI for Noob Saibot never performs any special moves during a match, only combos and basic attacks. This holds true to the home versions even if Noob Saibot had specials moves in those games.
You did better then I would have 👏. It could have been worse, you may wake up one day thinking to yourself "Can I beat sub-zero mythologies with 1 life? 🤔" lol
I’ve beaten umk3 with every character before. It’s hard as hell at first but once you learn the AI tricks it’s actually not bad at all. I find trilogy to be harder. The endurance matches are bs though. MK3 vanilla is definitely easier. It’s like they decided with UMK3 arcade version they were going to get as many quarters or tokens as they could out of people lol. I couldn’t beat this in the arcade back in 95’ or 96’ but over years with the home versions I learned exploits. You will get use to it more bro. Good vid!
I feel and vibe with your intro so much, with EVERETHING. Love your content! You're a MORTAL KOMBAT kid, just like me, and all of the community here 🖤💚💛🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
speaking for myself here. I watch videos like this one not because "you suck". I've watched so many players play MK as if it's a piece of cake, and that's ok, but I also still enjoy realistic gameplay with the anger and frustration involved (same with MK Mythologies lol!). keep on going, my friend
Thanks Ellen, turns out there’s quite a few people who enjoy casual gameplay from non pros as the support for this video has been great.. my only regret, was not finishing. I quit. What kind of lesson is that for the kids? Lol I’ll be back at it. Thanks again 👊🏼
Man, you get the patron in the first encounter with Ermac in the triple endurance. To try in the future: jump up whith kick or punch and start a combo (2 things could hapend, the oponent came straight to you and you conect... or not, if not, you jump back, kick, and start the loop). The other thing: unlock the mind set from MK2!: when you jump forward don´t throw a kick, but a punch, if you conect, you start a combo. I see you capable of completed it with Smoke (both), Sektor, Cyrax, and Scorpion no problem! Pardon my inglish, hope understand, hugs from Argentina!
Despite your failed attempts, it's still entertaining to watch you play classic MK, bro. The AI in this game is no match for me, thanks to all the exploits I know. However, those endurance matches are a real pain, especially with this cheap AI.
Dude once they went to the combo system in MK3 I started sucking unless I absolutely cheesed the AI. lol Even the newer games I can't chain combos to save my life.
8:00 just for "fun" you should record a short and show us what that "Ultimate" difficulty is actually like. I'm very curious considering it is already very hard on medium.
Ultimate Difficulty has the AI drone at it's maximum level from the start no matter the tower you pick (yup, you have to assume that even Novice would behave the same way as the Champion tower... that's even worse if you play it on Endurance Champion by pressing start at the tower select screen before picking the Champion tower), and no, don't count on the game nerfing the difficulty slowly each time you lose 3 matches in a row, you either know how to cheese the AI or you will be frustrated with the AI behavior having advantage on nearly everything, also in case you're wondering, the same goes in Mortal Kombat 2 Plus, which funny enough if you use the Jax cheese AI method to beat the game, you could easily unlock Noob Saibot by beating the game in about 8 minutes while you have around 11 minutes as a time limit.
Scorpion's Toasty Fatality in MK3, UMK3 and UMK3 Trilogy is the similar as that of MK2, but instead HP is HK, that is, with BL pressed you do Down Down Up HK.
@@Matt_Holcomb well that’s a coincidence I literally just finished playing that version again for a video dropping soon lol and I dunno if I’m getting worse the older I get but I was having difficulty on Kintaro again, like it was my first time or something lol
Help! I distinctly remember there being a code for the original MK3 on Genesis when I was a kid that you entered at the screen that says “There is no knowledge that is not power”. I KNOW I put a code in there but I cannot remember what it was. It isn’t instilled in my brain like DULLARD or the blood code. Anyone know what I’m talking about??
It's this code, A, B, B, A, Down, A, B, B, A, Down, Up, Up but you had to press it very smoothly for it to work. If you did it correctly Shao Kahn will laugh to confirm code. All this does is unlock cyborg Smoke. Note that you could enter it at that knowledge screen or the MK3 title screen. Alternatively, you could just enter this code at the main menu C, Right, A, Left, A, Up, C, Right, A, Left, A, Up to get the Killer Codes menu which will let you unlock Smoke anyways along with Motaro and Shao Kahn (but not Noob Saibot).
@@VOAN you are wonderful haha! Thank you! Smoke was my guy back then so that makes perfect sense! I will write that down and save it because I have tried looking up a code that you enter at that screen and I couldn’t find it. The Killer Codes and all that, I’ve found but I appreciate the help! Thank you!

You suck...nah, and do you want to know why I think you don't suck is simple, most players would have gave up too early, the fact that you managed to reach the 2nd Endurance and got close to win it is a feat on it's own right, and at the point you stopped, anyone would have done it as you where at the time where you really needed to take a break. Heck, even I have my fair share of moments of losing my mind playing UMK3/MKT this way (this was the case of my very first time beating N64 MKT back in 1996... keeping in mind that during those days I didn't have an idea of how to have Free Play enabled, I fot the knowledge after playing the Space Invaders mini-game like 10+ times to get the cheat for Endurance Ladders and like 4 runs on Endurance Champion to get the treasure no.24 reward to get the cheat code for both the question marks options and the free play cheat only... and all of that before getting a magazine that straight up had the cheats with the movelist for all characters including Motaro and Shao Kahn with their Fatality, and I still have that cart for my N64 funny enough), in any case, it was a good ride and hopefully in the future you might get that full run, heck, you even motivated me to do a run of this version with good old Scorpion, so... you can expect to see me do a run soon.
Thanks for the comment dude I appreciate it. I’ll make sure to check out a Scorpion play through if you do one. Gimme a shout in the description because I’ll forget otherwise 👊🏼 as for the N64 play through, I did that a few months back and had to cheese the computer with Noob, however it was Motaro that drove me to insanity on that one, I DID emerge victorious however and watched the Supreme Demonstration.
