i can see they store food in Bonne Maman jars which i love. such a cozy little spot. that outdoor space is spectacular in it's view and deck set up. i'm in a swoon about everything. i felt like i was on a mini vacation just watching this. thank you!

How clever of Susanna to ‘mistake’ the spirits for oils to solicit a quicker cocktail hahahaha! I love this property because almost anyone could take inspiration from it, in any small space or flat and on any budget. Just putting kitchen staple dry goods into sets of glass jars and stacking them in an organised way looks so tempting. Anyone could fit in here, they seem to be a lovely welcoming couple.

I love how the owners kept the home “rustic”, but so pulled together, reflecting their tastes. There’s nothing precious or pretentious. Love the white Floraline collection. That color is so hard to find.

I was so happy to see that video! My late uncle had a 2-story house right on the beach on the sound on Vashon island and we went there in the summer a few times and I remember it with fondness!

Why oh why can't these videos be a little longer? I wanted to linger and really take things in. This place was so dreamy. I love Vashon Island and think this is the perfect place. This visit was so chockablock filled with intriguing arrangements of items that it required a second and third viewing! (So loved the winged chair and sofa done up with what appears to be a pale pink duck cloth with red piping!) Charming hosts as well as our, as always, delightful Susanna!

this is pure talent and marvelous coordinated styling. notice the oven/range, refrigerator, barbecue, etc. is quite affordable and at the low end of affordability in appliance/cookware; however, absolutely charming and pure perfection with the multi-layers of design and architecture -- B R A VO -- one of my favorites habitats because a price point for major purchases that is quite affordable to average, working folks. understand the fabrics and many other pieces are more expensive and at a custom/designer level; however, a blend of pure perfection and achievable with saving for the special and affordability woven masterfully together -- BRAVO! FYI -- unashamed and addicted to dish towels and the piles of dish towels throughout your living spaces did not go unnoticed -- I think my collection of 100% linen dish towels have met their match and are quite surpassed by your lovely collections 🤪

I live on Vashon and my folks lived here for several decades. It’s a unique community that isn’t for everyone but it’s a lovely place to retire as long as you don’t need to drive a car to work off island.
I remember when my family would catch the ferry there every Saturday and Dairy Queen was the big pleasure many many moons ago!
