@BoombapBodega It is a nice machine for it's functions, massive storage and workflow. Just wish it had the sound of the older machines. Like the ones you rock with 🫡
@@TeddyRockSteady Indeed!! You know it's been a full year since KS started the monthly sample challenge? I just organized my 12 tracks, planned to have them mastered, super stoked about this!!
I only get stems of vocals or melodic elements using RipX. I never rip drums. For Breakbeat fx I do 2 things I learned from Nonjuror using the 404mk2 Cassette Sim ALL Settings ZERO and Compressor ALL ZERO except level at 68. I'll sometimes do sp-505 lofi, reverb, and eq. I also like to keep bass kicks around 70 to 80 Hz and Bass synth lines around 40 to 60hz. BUT sometimes I'll do the opposite.
I have been using an old school cassette recorder and re-sampling them back into the MPC. The warm analog saturation that comes from the tape is so dope. Only downside is the low ends can get a little out of control and you lose character in the break
Yeaaaa FAM putting that work in and I see that Grusty Breaks sticker 🫡🫡🫡
Thank you so much for stopping by. Massive Salute, love and respect for you! 💚

How did you do the stems right from the mp? You put it in controller mode?
@@VigoBeatz yes, I connect it to my PC and use the software for the stems.
Get rossum sp1200 or emu, beat will sound way way better on that than this,
@paserpase2870 I'm getting the Isla s2400, those relic machines are not worth 4k in modern times
