My father in law lives very near the little pee dee (he gets flooded when a hurricane hits right) close to Nichols. Every time I go over the bridge it has made me want to fish it. I stay in southeastern NC.

I was in a place where I couldn't raise my pole because of the tree limbs above me so I had to grab the line and do the best I could . Ha ha. That catfish sure was some good eating. Great videos! I subscribed. We just moved to the area. We are about 2 miles from the Little Pee Dee in Galavant's Ferry. Would one of the Bass Pro Pelican or Pond Prowler boats be good for bream fishing this river? I have never done this kind of fishing before, so any advice would be awesome! Thank you.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I fish this area quite often. I am not far from there myself. In the warmer months I usually fish with live crickets and redworms for big bluegill and shellcracker. I mostly fish out of a warrior one man boat with a trolling motor. The river at galivants ferry does have some current especially at the landing. It would probably be best to put in at Huggins landing or Davis landing until you get familiar with the river. If I were to bank fish I would probably fish the center section of water in between the hwys before you get to Galivants Ferry coming from Marion. There is a little old road down there. I think it's like 2 bridges before you get to Galivants Ferry on your left.Hope this helps. Have a good one buddy.
Mark, the little pee Dee produces lots of darker color fish unlike the big pee Dee river. Some of the Bream will be so dark that they almost look black. Beautiful fish. Have a good one buddy

Deshun the man, the warrior one man boat was around $2,400 for the complete setup with boat, motor, seat, taxes and fees. It is the best money I've ever spent on a boat. I'm guessing that dark water produces some dark colored sunfish and catfish? Some nice catches though regardless.
