Camo felt tape or camo mole skin helps keep the metal pieces quiet (rachet straps etc.). Learned it from another guy and has worked fairly well, not always perfect, but certainly better. Cheers!
Nice video but seems a bit too complicated for bow hunting I appreciate your effort and everyone is different if it’s good for the sport we should encourage everyone however they plan on doing it
I came across the Hawk saddle online. Its significantly less expensive then another brand and am apprehensive on spending less on something that I will literally have my life hanging from. Thanks for the review. Its helping me feel a little more comfortable knowing this isnt cheaper but just les expensive.
@@BlackOvis How are the ropes and bridge holding up? Ive seen some videos and reviews of people talking about the bridge fraying and the ropes separating.
Yes that is true, it's like all things that are man made they will eventually degrade and need to be replaced. My suggestion is when you need to to replace the ropes and bridge go to your local rock climbing store or equivalent and ask about a search and rescue rope to replace. Do not get a climbing rope. It's not meant for this type of use. Your going to want a rope with a robust mantle. Most rope will last about a year or two given ow well you take care of it.
This is super great looking place and the saddles are really great best of luck on your hunting thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!

How are the ropes? Really only see older reviews from like 2020 but every one says the ropes are done after 2-3 hunts
We've had great luck with them!
great video, appreciate it
Glad you liked it!
