Hello, Yuyu. I'm glad to encounter your video. I'm from Hokkaido and now teach Japanese at university in California. Taking advantage of my position, I continue to introduce the prefecture in my classes, and I will use your video (You have good points!!) to show to my students.
Thanks for the feedback! I definitely agree this type is more organized and hopefully it's more helpful! I'll maybe make a video like this for Tokyo too!
YuYu, you just planned my next trip to Japan for me lol. Hokkaido is one of places on my list to visit that I haven't gotten a chance to on my trips there. That's a lot of things to do in 3 days, but looks like you had a great time. I would totally go to town at Ramen Dojo. As for format, i like both. I think having a combination of both formats gives a nice overview plus a slice of life.
Chitose airport is awesome, you can spend a couple days there just eating all the foods lol! Hokkaido was surprisingly fun, and I quite liked doing this type of video, made me feel organized!
Going to Hokkaido in a few days. After sorting through the reading, the VDO nicely sums it all up for us. We did not plan to visit the Otaru Aquarium, but it's now on the list. Overall, excellent VDO- short, well shot, and informative. Thank you.
I was surprised how pretty Hokkaido is when we went because all I hear is winter in Hokkaido! It's worth going to in all seasons! And since there's Sapporo beer there, it's a good place for drinking all year long lol
I agree, really amazing! I first heard and saw Hokkaido, the beautiful crystal blue sea in Shakotan by Captain Aty - he’s a little Asian claw video living in Japan. Captain Aty is the greatest adventurer and has already shown me and thousands of other people from all over the world half of Japan.😄 The best little “Ambassador” as we call him, is even an honorary member of Sagamihara City for tourism.😍
YuYu incredible video. I just discovered it on a whim after I had a conversation with a friend who is especially fond of Japanese Single Malt Whisky. According to him, as long as I understood him correctly, that Hokkaido has become a haven for many of Japan’s whisky distilleries. Are there many of them there that you know of? maybe another video perhaps?😉
Hello Yuyu! Thank you Very Much for this video is one of the best! I am planning my trip to Japan on march2019 and one of my friends want to go to Sapporo but i was unsure about that because i haven't found something to do but this video is very helpful! We are going to make a list with your suggestios! By the way you always looking pretty :) kisses!!!
What a surprise! I have known that penguins are able to inhabit only in Antarctica continent. Is it true that they live even in Hokkaido? It is located far nearer to the Arctic, isn't it????
Do you mean Hokkaido in general or only Sapporo? We spent 2 days in Sapporo and 1 day in Otaru and did all the things I showed in the video! So if you aren't planning on visiting more places, 4 days will be plenty
Your little intro animation is literally SO CUTE! Do you speak all those languages?! And my mom told me so many cool things about Hokkaido! I have to go back to Japan to visit! Where did you travel from, if you don't mind my asking? The desserts in Japan are out of this world! You guys did an insane amount of things in just 3 days! Ugh I'm so hungry now after looking at your food shots! The canal is gorgeous! I remember a similar one in Kyoto that was also very beautiful! I was so mad we missed the cherry blossoms last year! Ahhh Alpacas!!! And I didn't know they raced sheeps haha. DORAEMON! That was my childhood hahha. Thanks for sharing!! When's your next adventure?!
Aww thanks so much for your comment!! Yes I speak a few languages fluently and I'm still working on my Japanese! I traveled from Tokyo to Hokkaido since it was golden week and I wanted to take advantage of the days off without going too far away. We are definitely intense travelers, I always try to squeeze in as much as possible! Hokkaido much exceeded my expectations, I just gotta go back in the winter haha! Doraemon was my childhood too so I had to check it out when I found out there's an area for Doraemon at Chitose airport. Planning to go to Osaka in June maybe, I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and I wanna check out USJ so badly! I also wanna make more videos about fun things in Tokyo since I do live here and it's travel season. So stay tuned for more adventures! ヾ(〃^∇^)ノ♪
Love your video, very informative. Could you please tell me how did you travel in Hokkaido, is it by car? Especially when you went to the farm? Thank you
We only used public transportation. That farm area had a shuttle from the nearest train station so it was very convenient. You just have to know the schedule beforehand to plan ahead
I really like this video and I wish you would do more like this. I would like longer videos on Japan as I love this country and would like to know more about it. I do like your other videos but they are a bit too short for me.
@@TokiYuYu Tokiyuyu l will be travelling to Hokkaido in July....Hope it will be fine. Please make the video on Tokyo , so we can explore there, too. Also, please please let me know where you buy your sweet small necklaces from, i really want to buy those when l visit Tokyo in July. Many Thanks.
Detail information of Sapporo and Otaru, I'm going there during winter period, I dont think i have the chance to visit alpacas :( but did get a lot of useful information in this video :D. I would like to ask where can you buy the IC?
I would love to visit Hokkaido again during the winter time, I saw some pics of Otaru Canal during the winter time and it looks absolutely gorgeous! I bought my IC card which is a PASMO card in Tokyo and you can use it in many areas of Japan. If you don't already have a card, you can get it at almost any ticket machines of subway/train stations!
Hello, Yuyu. I'm glad to encounter your video. I'm from Hokkaido and now teach Japanese at university in California. Taking advantage of my position, I continue to introduce the prefecture in my classes, and I will use your video (You have good points!!) to show to my students.
