  • Do you struggle to sound articulate when you speak? Do you find it hard to produce a voice or speech sounds that help you sound articulate? If people get confused as to what you're saying or ask you to repeat yourself often, then this could be a problem that you face. In that case, you need to avoid these 7 articulate voice mistakes that I reveal in this video!
Sounding articulate when you speak and creating an articulate voice comes down to good pronunciation. The way you pronounce the words that you use and the sounds in those words need to be pronounced clearly and distinctly. But when we're rushed, stressed or distracted, we can get lazy with our speech. And end up meshing our words together so the listener can't understand what we're saying. Other issues are lack of vocal range, a quiet voice or talking to your chin.
In this video, I break down the 7 most common articulate voice mistakes that people make when it comes to sounding articulate. Watch this video to see if you make any of these voice mistakes so you can work on improving the clarity of your speech. If you've liked my other videos on how to be more articulate, you'll love this one!
I also teach you how to test your speaking rate to see if you speak too fast or too slow!

As a non-native English speaker living in England I must say that this video has confirmed that most native English speakers are not articulate. Especially in England, you have to almost guess what some people say. The fact I struggled to understand them for a long time made me think that my English wasn't good enough. It turns out they're not articulate. That's the reason non-native English speakers struggle to understand most native English speakers. Great video. I'm a huge fan.

I completely agree. Sometimes I even find it hard to understand some British accents.

I am a hvac design engineer in Aec construction industry, have heard about it skill stacking so was keen to know how is it done properly to work at our advantage..
