I had an idea while watching this video. If you make the clapper part thin enough to go through the hole you could actually cut the upper part into and then with very thin wire drill a hole in each part and re-attach loosely. Make the whole part long enough and thin enough to go through the hole from the top of the bell and glue in place but leave room to glue the upper part in place. Before gluing make the handle of the bell to finished state. Glue the handle in place. Now you have a bell that has a clapper that moves. There are probably many other ways to do this but this is just a thought I had while watching. Instead of a handle you could just leave it shorter with a hole drilled to allow for ribbon or wire. Thanks for a very good video. Happy New Year.

You should have moved the camera so we could see you working the inside of the bell.

Nice job. I thought you could have made the top as part of the bell. You had enough wood.

You need to use a hook chisel as an end grain hollowing tool. Using a scraper is very slow and miserable.

Could you wear a microphone for those of us who are hard of hearing?

One of the scariest things I ever saw is when you put your hand under to “support” the stem. Catch an edge and you have lost some fingers
