Glenn, your videos are the best. You really have a knack for teaching the art of wood turning. Thank you

Glenn - love the videos: both your knowledge base and your entertaining values are perfect. Question: do you use a straight Forstner bit or a serrated/wavey type bit(s)??? what do you find better.

Welcome to the channel. Wavey/tooth bit for end grain, forstner bit for side grain. Thanks for watching.

Very nice ornament. Thank you the explanation of using the carbide up & over to smooth.
Question: please tell me about your helmet. Good for dust? Does it fog up?
    Is it top heavy?
    What brand?

No, it's not top heavy. Doesn't fog up as it has the ventilators. Best face shield I have had. Even Liza get on well with it. Did a video on it. Here is the link : ruclips.net/video/HRskMIZEj4E/видео.html

I suggest you use a dowel rod & split drillean it out rather than using your fingers.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I do things the way I like to do them. I don't suggest you copy me at all. I always say do what is right for you. I do a lot of my turning off the cuff, as it's on camera. We don't cut or edit any footage. I don't claim to be an expert, but I am an expert at what I do.
