You're a saint because you translated the spicy parts of the song and refined them to presentable information. That takes skill👏🏽👍🏽
Lol! I try to and thank you
@Simbihawt Your breakdown is elaborate 👍🙏🏿; Kindly do a breakdown for NORMAL too 🇬🇭🇳🇬🌍🌎🌏
@@rejoiceamankwa9189thanks. Posted yesterday 🙂
Trust me, she is lol.
Agree 😇💕
As a Kenyan I really appreciate her...I love Yoruba & Nigerians

Wow I'm not Nigerian but I'm African ❤ we all love Naija music but at times it does require good interpretation like this😅
Much love and lol I’m happy to help 🤎

You did not only translate this song, you also gave it additional life. Heard the son many times, but it now sounds more lively to me, and this is coming from a Yoruba guy.
ruclips.net/video/OeiKsGMQ_0U/видео.htmlsi=UX_3H5-q2OnJy3Y8
Thank you!!
Burna boy is not a Yoruba guy
@@burnaboymusiclyricsgist3923But his mother is Yoruba and that makes him half Yoruba. why are you trying so badly to cut off his maternal side?
@@burnaboymusiclyricsgist3923he sings a lot of his songs in Yoruba though and I believe his mother is Yoruba, so how more Yoruba can he be?
Thank you so much from outside Africa!❤
I thought this song was untranslatable.😅
I fell in love with Afrobeats when nobody knew about it here, eccept some Nigerians.🎉
Now, finally, Burna Boy and the other stars come to Europe and also to my country for concerts.🎉
Much ❤ from Germany!
I always see them in Germany! Lol nice. Happy to help ☺️
@@Simbihawt Wow! See you then perhaps at next Summerjam Cologne, Germany close to the stage celebrating BURNA BOY! Or Afrobeats disco later.😘🥰❤️😁😍🤩🎊🎉
But 2 years ago in Cologne, poor baby Wizkid Starboy. Nobody knew him. I know, in Africa everybody is singing with him every song, every note and every word. But when he directed his mic to the audience in Cologne, only 10 happy Africans were singing along with him. Hope he will come back to Germany though ...
Awwww lol. I’m not surprised but I’m sure if he goes to Germany now it will be much more different
Seeing this after this song got nominated for a Grammy... burna boy is definitely winning thr category
I love the translation, I'm Nigerian and I must admit it, you did well. I have two contributions.
- Manya is a slang used in pidgin, common in Port Harcourt, evolved from the Igbo word for alcohol (mmanya).
- Street is also a slang in pidgin. Mostly used to express being clever, witty, resourceful, hardworking or notorious.
ruclips.net/video/OeiKsGMQ_0U/видео.htmlsi=UX_3H5-q2OnJy3Y8
I appreciate your contribution on this. I never knew manya came from the igbo language. Nice to know 🙂
You're right however street here isnt used as wise or yada yada ...its used as outside
BLACK AMERICANS HAVE THE SAME DEFINITION OF THE SLANG TERM "STREET" AND USE IT THE SAME WAY IN AMERICA.
TREET
Hello.. you are awesome.. Here from south Louisiana.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BURNA BOY!! My father is Nigerian and from Port Harcourt.. I don’t know the language but very connected to Afrobeat and culture..
So cool thanks for sharing!! Happy to help you connect with the music a bit better 🙂
Burna Boy is from Port Harcourt too
You’re from same place with Burna Boy
Cool but I doubt people from pourtharcourt understand Yoruba I think it's more of his mum's language
Are you a Nigerian 😢?
Wow! Ive never seen anything like this before, when i saw about 12 mins duration I was like why that long? Never knew you were gonna translate words for words, and I got locked
I'm a Yoruban from Nigeria you're damn! Spot on 💯 and I don't think i could have done it better. You just got yourself a subscriber 😊
😂 even sometimes after I edit me too I wonder why is the video this long lol nice having you!
ruclips.net/video/OeiKsGMQ_0U/видео.htmlsi=UX_3H5-q2OnJy3Y8
Please do the entire album🙏🏿‼️
Lol can you give me your top 3-5 please? Whole album will be hard as there are so many afrobeats songs, artists, new music coming out etc. But I will do a few!!
Normal, On Form, Giza, and Dey Play….that’s all🙌🏿
@@DJJayWhit Noted! Thanks
@@Simbihawt yes those exact ones!!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂❤... Bro...❤
Whao! I'm Nigerian, but the way you break down the lyrics and the slangs make me love the song even more. You are a genius in your professorn. 🎉🎉🎉
Aww thanks I appreciate it
Thank you for this! Sometimes I have no idea what Burna says but it's a prayer :)
Lol I understand. You’re welcome 🙂
Honestly, I must confess you did a great job translating the song.
shout to this girl for doing her best to translate the really raw lyrics in a clean manner
Best video on RUclips!💯. Great job little sista. Much love from 🇭🇹 Haiti/ Miami to all our people over the globe.
This girl translation is very classy. I want a Nigerian Wife now. Burnaboy is my Favorite AfroBeat artist.
Lol nice! Thank you
You should want a Yoruba wife and not a Nigerian wife......Burna Is a yoruba boy and he vibes in Yoruba plus pigding English So u need a Yoruba woman to help you out in translation
@@adeyemilasisi6720Ole, Burna boy is Igbo by tribe in Portacourt while his mom is from Edo. Some of you Yorubas should stop trying to claim Burna. There are lots of people from other tribes in Naija that speak Yoruba because of Lagos. Ole
They don`t come cheap, none of that bill sharing crap ya`ll do in the west. Better have deep pockets or keep it moving...Nigerian women don`t do broke.
@@adeyemilasisi6720are you the one to tell him what he wants? He said he wants a Nigerian wife, point black. E no concern you.
Thanks Alot 🙏 for making us understand this song, keep bringing us more lyric and meaning of afrobeat. big 1 from me to you
#Respect from #Liberia
Honestly, this is what a content should be like, you have revealed the song to the world not just literally but in the fullness of the meanings and context. I understand a bit of Yoruba but your revelations on the song have multiplied my love for d song. Well done sis.
Nice! I’m happy to help 🙂

Thanks for this! Lol I am happy to know I am helping
Wow! I'm Nigerian - I use to think the song was a load of babbles but you analysed and gave it real meaning like an interpreter of dreams... Kudos!
Lol I like how you worded that. Thank you ☺️
Dude, it’s babble. There’s nothing profound about the lyrics that the average rapper on the streets hasn’t said. You people are ridiculous now.
@@kingofpendragonyou are the most ridiculous ine chum
@kingofpendragon You're here though 👀
Good job explaining all that.
I love the way you translate 😊. Very enjoyable. Remain bless 🙌

I'm subscribing to your channel because of this, i couldn't even decode the song this much despite being a Nigerian. It takes smartness to decode Burna's songs, cos they are always deep😊
