    Ogogoro is local gin but vodka is properly distilled alcohol that has gone through proper manufacturing process. They are not on the same category

    A correction pls! I love Àsàké so much and he don't just call himself "Mr Money", he adopted the nickname just as every other persons bearing Òlòlàdé nicknamed themselves Mr Money. The nickname originated from a very popular 2001 Old Yoruba movie titled: Òlòlàdé Mr Money. The character of Òlòlàdé in that movie was a rich and successful man after a lot of backlash life gave him. Since 2001, everyone bearing Òlòlàdé as a name are nicknamed Money or Mr Money. Àsàké should be 6 years of age when the when people strated using the nickname.
    I have listened to the music uncountable times today. I love it. To me the song is not targeting his fans like us but enemies on the borderline of success in the music industry because Àsàké is an household name in Nigeria as of today.

    I love your analysis babe. This shows you're a Nigerian and infact a Yoruba girl.
    Ashake's Lonely @ the Top, is a true an I don't care attitude of someone that's poised to achieve his goals without minding any distraction from nobody, @ any level or anyhow.
    This is practicable for anybody that wanna achieve greater height in life.
    Live your life, don't live a fake life, copy people or imitate them, because your destiny isn't the same with theirs and also your wants are not the same.
    Love this lyrics so much.❤❤❤

    "Ogogoro no be vodka." Ogogoro is a type of local Nigerian alcoholic drink made from palm sap. Vodka, on the other hand, is a clear distilled alcoholic beverage originating from Russia and Poland, typically made from fermented grains or potatoes.
    The statement emphasizes that although both are alcoholic drinks, they are not the same and should not be confused. The implication could be cultural, suggesting the uniqueness and distinct nature of each beverage, or practical, highlighting differences in taste, potency, or preparation . Asake is trying to use this to emphasize his superiority.

      @@Simbihawt these:
      Eti = Eto in ewe
      Kan mi = Kan mi in ewe which means it doesn’t concern us (Mou kan mo is, it doesn’t concern me)
      Idi= egbi

    Asake is my new fav artist and this page is so necessary for us who learn sing yoruba without even knowing the meaning, we are thankful for this 🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥
    Can I request?: Asake - Baba God & Nzaza ? (My two faves ) 🙏🏿

      You are so welcome and I love helping with it!! Both of these songs are already on my request list just haven’t had the time to do it yet but I will note that it’s requested again. I started the channel late last year so there are so many songs in 2022 that came out that I never got to do!! PrayingI have time to do some 🙏🏾

    I watched 👀 to see if I could fault you but damn! You did a yeoman's job. O se, you're the BOMB! I suspect you're a Nigerian-American.
