  • This week’s cocktail is one from the late 1800s that tastes just as good as it looks - the Clover Club!
    2 oz (60 ml) Gin
0.5 oz (15 ml) Lemon Juice
0.5 oz (15 ml) Raspberry Syrup*
    1 Egg White
    Garnish: 3 raspberries speared
*Alternatively can muddle 4 raspberries with 0.5 oz (15 ml) of Simple Syrup for Raspberry Syrup
Pour Gin, Lemon Juice, and Raspberry Syrup into cocktail shaker. Carefully incorporate egg white into shaker (no yolk) and shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
Double-strain into Coupe glass and garnish with 3 raspberries speared on a small pick.

A good clover club is amazing, and that syrup so handy for other things too. When i make raspberry syrup I usually end up putting half in the plain yogurt i buy xD

Oh I never thought of other uses for raspberry syrup (which is why I had never bought a bottle)! Might have to consider investing!

@@homecraftcocktails I personally make my own, and put it in the freezer when not in use to make it last long. anders erikson has a super easy recipe on his syrup video, but i use it in clover clubs, raspberry daquiris, plain yogurt, and my fiance adds it to ice cream, waffles and a few other things :)
