- I can't do it anymore. Every single Minecraft let's play video ones-ups another one. That isn't me and never will be. I first saw someone building a planet Episode 1 in Hardcore, and then someone building a universe, and then someone literally build an entire GALAXY. It has to end somewhere... Let's all travel through the blackhole they have created into the good ol'days when everything was simpler. Welcome to Let's Play Minecraft Like It's 2010 Again. I appreciate this return to form, so many minecraft channels nowadays all pretend to be each other and do the exact same thing. The landscape is so saturated with over-edited videos of massive but kinda unimaginative builds that by now, it’s this kind of simple fun that seems special and extraordinary.

The vibe is incredible whenever I watch you. The atmosphere, your voice, the gameplay. Everything is just perfect. And the title you chose for this series is so fitting as well. It's exactly what I'd picture looking back to when I first used to play Minecraft back in early 2013. I grew up with this game and I've made so many beautiful childhood memories that I'll never forget. It makes me so nostalgic and honestlly I'm happy that I came across this game when I was little and I'm also happy that I came across your RUclips channel years ago. I used to watch your videos A LOT during the quarantine but then I just stopped for some reason. I kept the notifications on and always saw whenever you'd post a video or start a new series, I'm just happy that you're the same chill guy I remember and I just love what you do man. Keep it up!

I was 12 years old when I started watching you for the first time and I was so much into minecraft ,then growing up I got distant from minecraft, Now I'm 20yrs old in college and just opened up your video to hear the same Intro you always do "Heyyy Guyss what is up TheNeoCubest here " gave me so much nostalgia. It's so good to watch your videos again dude keep it up

I've never actually liked videos of youtubers building huge bases or huge structures starting off. I want to see the progress. One reason why I like your videos is because you show yourself getting the resources that you need (unless it's a lot of mining or chopping trees lol, which I understand why you skip most of that). I like that you build things that anyone can build. Plus these days, it's hard to find a Let's Play where the creator talks to their viewers. Sure, the other youtubers talk, but then they immediately fast forward or put music on and then speed it up or edit out a good chunk of the video. The way you make them feels like an actual let's play.
Also, if you start feeling burnt out, don't be afraid to tell us. Don't end the series. If you want to focus on something else because you're bored of the world, please do so and then come back when you're ready. I get bored of my worlds all the time (I have many because I like using a bunch of different texture packs lol). Or if you're bored of one spot, move to another area.
I'm sorry this is long, but I hope you read it. Hope you and your wife are doing well and it's great to see you back doing Let's Plays! ❤

I am glad to see someone doing an actual lets play. I dont know what happenedlately all you ever see is Hardcore 100 days, 1000 days ect. ect. itt seems after Dataless822, Friloth to name a few stopped making lets play videos for minecraft. Thanks for making these videos greatly appreciated. I personnally do not mind watching the boring stuff or long videos.

i love the longer relaxed let’s plays they’re so much more enjoyable than the fast paced ones, that’s the main thing i miss about 2011-2017 youtube

Just finished the episode. A few things I wanna say.
First of all, I think not making promises or putting expectations on yourself is the best way to go about things. I had so much fun watching this episode - the fact that it didn't feel "planned" is part of the magic of Minecraft in my opinion. You never know what will happen next or what you will need to do next. And I think watching you have fun is more enjoyable for us as viewers.
Secondly, holy moly how do you ALWAYS find spawners lmao.
Thirdly, when you build the exp farm eventually, it'd be really nice to hear how you set up everything (collection, AFK point, rail system) and how to do it so we can learn as well.

I used to watch lets plays about 10 years ago and I loved them, now I watch lets plays and there's too much going on, too much editing and stuff going on behind the scenes for me to enjoy. I recently got back into minecraft after about 8 years or so and I've been trying to find lets plays like this but no one seems to do them anymore. Thank you so much for making such a chill, easy to follow lets play. This is exactly what I've been looking for!

I’ve never watched you before but right off the bat. I’m really impressed because you read off things for people who are visually impaired. I am a legally blind, Minecraft player and to see somebody think of something like that means a lot.

a day with a neo video is a good day, hope this series explodes and builds your channel up even more. can’t believe your luck with the dungeons either, hopefully those are close enough to be able to farm both. it’s nice to see someone talk about how repetitive LTN(among others but 100 days is all his fault lol) made minecraft content, feel like that flies under the radar for most viewers.

Been a while but you made me want to play mine craft after finals this week
I really miss these old lets play videos that I used to watch as a kid. I see all those "I Built X Thing in Hardcore Minecraft" or "Minecraft But..." videos, and I think they're cool and all, but something feels off about them. Every Hardcore video nowadays involves the player beating the Ender Dragon in the 1st episode. That feeling of sorta playing along with the lets player is gone. They don't feel special anymore. They're all copy and paste. Finding chill lets play videos like this these days is very hard, they just dont make them like they used too anymore. I really appreciate this video, I hope you continue series.

It's been a while since I last saw some of your videos and I may watch some parts of your prolonged LP videos within a few days since I tend to be busy with other things outside of watching RUclips. Also, me and you are the same age except I am only about a few months older than you, probably finding out your age when you revealed how old you were turning in a December of 2020 Hardcore episode! I gotta say, being born in the same year and seeing someone my age becoming a talented RUclipsr is pretty cool! Not trying to be jealous or anything like that!
I miss the old 2020 hardcore series the most because that was very memorable and the way you made a quick design of the cherry trees gave me nostalgia to around the mid fall of 2020!

I just had to pause and say I appreciated you reading the seed. I am actually blind in one eye and very nearsighted in the other. It was indeed helpful. While I tend to play on easy difficulty, I still enjoy a nice relaxing session of Minecraft.

Honestly this is why I subbed way back, the basic title, calm demeanor, and just enjoying the game by itself with no need to satisfy or prove to any audience. i absolutely love the slower pace of your videos, i like the other kinds other people make too, im a sucker for a 100 days, but they can get tiring
