The landscape is so saturated with over-edited videos of massive but kinda unimaginative builds that by now, it’s this kind of simple fun that seems special and extraordinary.
Great first episode Lee! I've never actually liked videos of youtubers building huge bases or huge structures starting off. I want to see the progress. One reason why I like your videos is because you show yourself getting the resources that you need (unless it's a lot of mining or chopping trees lol, which I understand why you skip most of that). I like that you build things that anyone can build. Plus these days, it's hard to find a Let's Play where the creator talks to their viewers. Sure, the other youtubers talk, but then they immediately fast forward or put music on and then speed it up or edit out a good chunk of the video. The way you make them feels like an actual let's play. Also, if you start feeling burnt out, don't be afraid to tell us. Don't end the series. If you want to focus on something else because you're bored of the world, please do so and then come back when you're ready. I get bored of my worlds all the time (I have many because I like using a bunch of different texture packs lol). Or if you're bored of one spot, move to another area. I'm sorry this is long, but I hope you read it. Hope you and your wife are doing well and it's great to see you back doing Let's Plays! ❤

The vibe is incredible whenever I watch you. The atmosphere, your voice, the gameplay. Everything is just perfect. And the title you chose for this series is so fitting as well. It's exactly what I'd picture looking back to when I first used to play Minecraft back in early 2013. I grew up with this game and I've made so many beautiful childhood memories that I'll never forget. It makes me so nostalgic and honestlly I'm happy that I came across this game when I was little and I'm also happy that I came across your RUclips channel years ago. Just finished the episode. A few things I wanna say. First of all, I think not making promises or putting expectations on yourself is the best way to go about things. I had so much fun watching this episode - the fact that it didn't feel "planned" is part of the magic of Minecraft in my opinion. You never know what will happen next or what you will need to do next. And I think watching you have fun is more enjoyable for us as viewers. Secondly, holy moly how do you ALWAYS find spawners lmao. Thirdly, when you build the exp farm eventually, it'd be really nice to hear how you set up everything (collection, AFK point, rail system) and how to do it so we can learn as well. I used to watch lets plays about 10 years ago and I loved them, now I watch lets plays and there's too much going on, too much editing and stuff going on behind the scenes for me to enjoy. I recently got back into minecraft after about 8 years or so and I've been trying to find lets plays like this but no one seems to do them anymore. I really miss these old lets play videos that I used to watch as a kid. I see all those "I Built X Thing in Hardcore Minecraft" or "Minecraft But..." videos, and I think they're cool and all, but something feels off about them. Every Hardcore video nowadays involves the player beating the Ender Dragon in the 1st episode. That feeling of sorta playing along with the lets player is gone. They don't feel special anymore. They're all copy and paste. Finding chill lets play videos like this these days is very hard, they just dont make them like they used too anymore. I really appreciate this video, I hope you continue series.

9067 and yes i do remember those tree planters from a lets play when you were living in a snowy area and you farmed spruce trees in them, infact that was the lets play that introduced me to your channel, i loved that series(didnt watch it all the way, watched till like you finished that modern house), after that i was busy with the preparations of some exams and i stopped playing Minecraft, but now that those are over, i am back, and just about at the right time you launched this series!
I love your more unstructured plays, I get bored seeing people do the same things all the time in minecraft. A lot of let's plays are also tutorials. I don't necessarily want tutorials, I enjoy seeing how others play the game organically. Keep it up ❤

I think it was in 2018 before or after when neo made a world that has some crazy biome super close and couldn't stop talking about it for 4 or 5 episodes. Those days were og days. I still remember today when he made the mega upgraded village. Your let's play are hype and interesting and cool.

9067 and yes i do remember those tree planters from a lets play when you were living in a snowy area and you farmed spruce trees in them, infact that was the lets play that introduced me to your channel, i loved that series(didnt watch it all the way, watched till like you finished that modern house), after that i was busy with the preparations of some exams and i stopped playing Minecraft, but now that those are over, i am back, and just about at the right time you launched this series!
I love your more unstructured plays, I get bored seeing people do the same things all the time in minecraft. A lot of let's plays are also tutorials. I don't necessarily want tutorials, I enjoy seeing how others play the game organically. Keep it up ❤

Honestly this is why I subbed way back, the basic title, calm demeanor, and just enjoying the game by itself with no need to satisfy or prove to any audience.
