Welcome to Minecraft SOS! Read the description for more details about this new server :) Episode notes: We decided to add a 'hardcore hearts' resource pack after the first recording, mostly so we all remember that dying has consequences. There were some glitches with Fate Coins being awarded for random advancements. That's been fixed now, but bonus points if you spot a random Fate Coin lying on the ground somewhere in this video! I'll be streaming from the server on Twitch tomorrow, continuing my dig project :)
Yes! I really enjoyed hanging out with Mog, the excitement is contagious. It's like living vicariously through someone else experiencing regular Minecraft for the first time
you can sneak in to a mansion by the outside, then break the windows shoot any baddies from the window and block the door with a line of blocks. then go to the next room by going through the wall drawing the baddies to the 1st block removed. so it is possible to find the book room and take everything. with no armour

By 29:49, it was clear that none of you will be able to survive the constraint. After all, Nature abhlores a vacuum. And come on, fwhip should know the lot of you well enough to have known this fully in advance! 😜
Three minutes later: so consternated by the lack of lore, Pix has not only divulged the lore of his base to other players, but begun enumerating his self-imposed lore, er, "Rules."
I will suggest that for each tool's marker that some of the materials dug out with it are used for decoration. Things like cobble for the upper level pickaxes and deepslate for ones used further down, dirt or gravel for shovels, moss for hoes, and jungle wood if an axe gets used up somehow.
...as always on these SMP-style series Pix your timelapses are an absolute masterpiece to witness. The music, the shaders, the moments of stillness and zoom-in like the wandering trader stepping through the grass, the bit where the camera stays fixed on the nether portal as its netherrack "roots" emerge from the stone.... And then poof! It ends in a puff of smoke. The whole range of emotions, comedy in tragedy. This is so fun 💚
I immediately went and retold the story/joke of the timelapse to some other minecraft friends who may not watch him. Having this timelapse take ages, with epic music, camerawork so masterfully done for *digging a hole*, by the time he falls in you're like well this is nice but it sure is going on for awhile what in the world is happening here - Oh. So excited for this! And for another SMP where Pix themes himself after remembering and death. (Mr. Pix, I think you've given yourself a character motif, and I'm delighted)
Loving the Survival Guide, but nothing beats a good SMP. So glad to see this happening. Looking forwards to watching videos from Mogswamp, as I’d never heard of him until today.
The graveyard for the tools remind me a little bit the story about how many people worked in the construction of the Chinese Wall. Many people is buried in the foundations of it, as it needed millions of people working on it

Well done man! Plus, what's with the not-having-a-water-bucket deal? Thats the first thing I make from my iron and it never leaves my side.
Pretty interesting to see you jump into such a massove scale project on a multiplayer server again, especially in such an unstable envirmonment like a hardcore-esque world and also after the anthill project getting cut short in Empires S1. Also is this gonna affect Survival Guide S3, are you planning on ever doing large scale projects like that in S3. Kinda feel like projects like the ski village or the massive digsite were highlights of S1 not to mention the museum.
Everything I've built in Season 3 already feels like it's scaled up from what I usually do. Like the storage room, for example.
