Tja,
Trotzdem ein Zeitzeugnis

From my fund: Appearance in 1981 Berlin Jazz Days, Germany. Unfortunately, I only have 17 minutes left of Volker Kriegel and the quality of both concerts - since they were recorded on VHS cassettes from German television - is sometimes poor. well, Still a testimony
ich liebe die musikgeschichte!!
The title of this video is a bit misleading or rather disappointing, because unfortunately there is no interaction between Volker Kriegel and John Scofield. Still an enjoyable upload.
What happened to "Why'd You Do It?" (John Scofield)?
Kriegel mit Thomas Bettermann (Keyboards), Eberhard Weber (Bass), Wolfgang Schlüter (Vibrafon) und Ralf Hübner (Schlagzeug). Scofield mit Steve Swallow und Adam Nussbaum...
Thanks 👍
Thanks for sharing, this is a rather rare opportunity to watch The John Scofield Trio of the 'Shinola' 'Out Like A Light' era, Sco sporting his then brand new original 1981 Ibanez AS200.
Love all the sco but his early stuff like shinola was the first I heard him plus w miles I guess I'll always love that early sound 😊
Django used 2 fingers because he has to , Kriegel often used 2 fingers because he felt comfortable it seems
Danke fuers reinstellen
Gerne 👍
Love all these guys! RIP Volker.
