While it is true that he has had problems with disregarding Via before I think that was a big part of his first character arc. Plus, He is a complex character and his whole life does not revolve around Blitzø and after the break up I think they're both healing ❤

@@Ari.303 Royalty did this a lot centuries ago, they'd arrange marriages of their kids to other friendly royalty- mostly for political reasons, trying to boost finances, alliances etc, but the kids wouldn't immediately get married until they hit a certain age. That said the age would be shockingly young, like 14 or so. Sometimes there would be falling outs between the royal parents and the arrangement would be called off though that's not to say they would always stop it. Children were seen as little more than just property or extra labour back then, so I can see the Goetia being the same way with their offspring.

He wants to be a better father, but fails miserably at it. When Stolas was sad, his father took him to a circus that he didn’t want to go to. When Via was sad, Stolas took her to a circus that she didn’t want to go to. Poor Stolas, he’s neglecting his daughter the same way his father did, and not even realizing it.
Now THAT sounds like a foolproof way for Stolas to make things right with his daughter! Once again, even if Octavia was still capable of telling Andrealphus to back off, he and Stella still have legal custody over her, and to make things worse, they could be the ones to arrange a marriage for her and brush off her asexuality as defiance to Goetian tradition and increase their palace security in case she either tries to run away again or if Stolas and I.M.P. return to save her. Next, there's Crimson and Striker (and possibly Mammon) whom Andrealphus could hire to do the dirty work of keeping Stolas and I.M.P. out of Goetian matters (which might also include giving Crimson the opportunity to kidnap Millie and later raise her unborn baby as an obedient replacement of Moxxie for the mafia, all in exchange for the efforts of Crimson's gang to keep Octavia in line and put both Stolas and I.M.P. out of the picture).

IF Vivzie has it in her, this can end up asking some really big questions about family heritage and what it means to people. Countless generations, possibly thousands or more of blood royalty, suddenly ended. That is a HEAVY topic for a lot of people across the world and a simple "egh, just go with the found family" type answer seems like a cop out, a lazy solution. It's not an answer, just a "shut up and go with it." I do believe the writing team has it in them to approach this topic with tact and nuance, but we'll see if they want to take that risk. Don't get me wrong, the found family answer is perfectly fine, but if handled poorly, it'll be a lazy approach to a complicated issue.
Octavia is a precautionary heir. This means she was born for the purpose of taking over Stolas' role if something were to happen to him. If she had a purpose and an arranged marriage beyond that they would have given it to her when she was much younger. Instead she is learning how to use the Grimoire because she is being trained to eventually take over for Stolas. In Season 2 episode 1, when Paimon is telling Stolas about his arranged marriage he specifies he will have to produce a precautionary heir, not just an heir. In that same episode Stolas once again brings up to Stella that Octavia is only a precautionary heir. In Season 2, Episode 4, when Stella and Andrealphus are talking, Andrealphus explains to Stella that if Stolas gets killed then everything he owns will go straight to Octavia.
Stolas is the Bob Pataki of Helluva Boss. He cares enough about his daugher's physical wellbeing, but not enough to give her attention when she needs him to.
I feel like it would be interesting if Octavia actually gets a good partner someone who genuinely understands her problems due to going through the same and how thst would work
I would just like to mention right now that although someone is asexual, that doesn't mean they aren't entirely interested in the doing. It just means they don't seek it in a relationship. They wouldn't like to do it for the relationship but some may or may not be opposed to it. So, the Goetia bloodline may still continue. Or, if not, it's hell. I'm sure there's some way they'll figure it out.

My guess is that blitz will play a key part in this storyline, probably in season 3, serving as another father/uncle figure for Octavia, with Luna serving a big sister role as well

It's actually somewhat common for those in aggressive "carry on the bloodline" families to end up preferring the comfort of the gender they can't bear child with. Common Ground and no risk of child rearing make great reasons for them to have trysts. As for Octavia, she's likely scarred from seeing her parents act like they did. Stolas, from day one, made no pretence about his resent for it all nor his bitch of a (now ex) wife. The fact Stolas was like this means Octavia might be the only Goetia child to not submit to Goetian standards or hide her true sexuality (which is hinted at by the fact Stolas was only ever seen in formal clothes in his youth, but Octavia is very obviously in normal teen clothes, showing rebellion). His complete distain for "the norm" likely spared his daughter carrying on generational nonsense. (Cos his ex-wife sure as hell seemed fine carrying that BS on so long as she had the free ride of luxury)
From what we know it was paimon that chose to force stolas into his marriage and the mother seemingly wasnt part of it because we would have met her in the circus so i think that she wont be forced at all because stolas will not choose
I think that Stolas will be supportive of Octavia, but don’t think he will have the power to stop the rest of the Ars Goetia family from pushing her into an arranged marriage. She was born as a *precautionary* heir. Meaning they just wanted to keep the bloodline going from Stolas as a “just in case” situation. So unfortunately that means (to me) forcing her to bare a child to keep the Goeita going for future generations. Which is horrifying, especially because she is ace. But the reality since she is royalty and that is probably in her “duties” as a royal. There is probably less or no pressure right now for her because she’s still a teen and Stolas is alive but if that changes then she will probably be moved into her role as an heir to the Goetia.

Stolas had his marriage arranged at a young age and we don’t hear anything about Via being betrothed. I take it Stolas is letting her chose her partner because he doesn’t want her forced into an unhappy marriage like he was. Since she’s ace I think he won’t care at all, but Stella will be upset with it.
I think there will be a scene, where Stolas will have no choice, that force Octavia into an unwanted marriage, so he will be just like his father. That would be interesting.

Stolas and Stella were engaged the day he turned 11. If Via were to be married off, she likely would've been arranged to do so already.

My guess is that blitz will play a key part in this storyline, probably in season 3, serving as another father/uncle figure for Octavia, with Luna serving a big sister role as well

It's actually somewhat common for those in aggressive "carry on the bloodline" families to end up preferring the comfort of the gender they can't bear child with. Common Ground and no risk of child rearing make great reasons for them to have trysts.
As for Octavia, she's likely scarred from seeing her parents act like they did. Stolas, from day one, made no pretence about his resent for it all nor his bitch of a (now ex) wife. The fact Stolas was like this means Octavia might be the only Goetia child to not submit to Goetian standards or hide her true sexuality (which is hinted at by the fact Stolas was only ever seen in formal clothes in his youth, but Octavia is very obviously in normal teen clothes, showing rebellion).
His complete distain for "the norm" likely spared his daughter carrying on generational nonsense. (Cos his ex-wife sure as hell seemed fine carrying that BS on so long as she had the free ride of luxury)

I think that Stolas will be supportive of Octavia, but don’t think he will have the power to stop the rest of the Ars Goetia family from pushing her into an arranged marriage. She was born as a *precautionary* heir. Meaning they just wanted to keep the bloodline going from Stolas as a “just in case” situation. So unfortunately that means (to me) forcing her to bare a child to keep the Goeita going for future generations. Which is horrifying, especially because she is ace. But the reality since she is royalty and that is probably in her “duties” as a royal. There is probably less or no pressure right now for her because she’s still a teen and Stolas is alive but if that changes then she will probably be moved into her role as an heir to the Goetia.

I honestly think if Octavia was going to have a forced marriage it would have shown up as part of the plot by now, since stolas was aware if his well before the age Octavia is currently in the show and the reason for that would probably be because of how stolas' marriage went, he actively tries to ensure she has a better life than he did at her age ❤ he's not always good at that or at expressing that as one of his goals but I do believe he will defend her choice if she doesn't want to marry

Stolas had his marriage arranged at a young age and we don’t hear anything about Via being betrothed. I take it Stolas is letting her chose her partner because he doesn’t want her forced into an unhappy marriage like he was. Since she’s ace I think he won’t care at all, but Stella will be upset with it.
I think there will be a scene, where Stolas will have no choice, that force Octavia into an unwanted marriage, so he will be just like his father. That would be interesting.
