Airbus in jenal has its distinctive engine sounds and for some reason i love how at altitude hold or speed restrictions the buzzing subsides and comes back nice and loud ❤
I remember flying on Allegiant back in 2017 out of Trenton NJ to Orlando and heard this noise, wondering if it was normal but was relieved to learn it was. This reminds me of that
wait, did the aircraft get pusbacked and pulled all the way to the runway by a truck or did it taxi with one engine? since I didn't see the right engine online, and noice thrust reduction :)
@NotDtech Yea, over here in Freeport, Grand Bahama, the ATR's do it all the time to get from the international terminal to the domestic terminal to pick up passengers.
why does that loud buzzing/droning sound go away? I always notice it during takeoff but about halfway through the flight it occurs to me all of the sudden that the engines are for the most part pretty quiet. probably the throttle wide open during takeoff and scaled back to maintain cruising speed?
It's the sound of the moving components of the engine moving faster than the speed of sound. Specifically the rotor and blades. The noise is more pronounced in front of the aircraft and at high rpm. Denser air /higher humidity will also make the sound louder
Most airlines have adopted that procedure it saves 50% of taxi time fuel obviously because of one less engine. You don't use one engine taxi if the taxi time is 5 minutes or less or the taxiway is wet. On a 777the fuel savings can be several hundred gallons of fuel per flight saving an airline hundreds of millions of dollars and consumers in fuel and ticket prices
I don't know anything about jet engines but why does the engine seem to rotate very slowly when it gets on up in the air. At 37.57 min it looks to be spinning pretty slow.
@@lauren8194 Florida is so overrated. Too hot, too republican, full of unintelligent people, Miami is a terrible city where most people can barely speak English, and it’s not nice during hurricane city
There was an all electric ground taxi system a couple of years back that was like having all 3 landing gear be a short term EV system for commerical airliners that was demo'd. APU and Batteries being the only thing that powered it, no engines needed. Engines wouldn't need to be turned on until almost to the runway and warmed up just before getting to the runway threshold proper. I don't know what became of it. A lot of the shit fuel burn comes from the ground, so aviation emissions would've been cut by having it on everything that it could be installed in.
The buzzing sound is the throttles being notched up to full speed. The “barking dog” sound you hear at taxi is the hydraulic distribution system. You only hear that on Airbus aircraft, more specifically on the A319, A320, and A321.
Older engines tend to buzz. Most newer planes are unfortunately getting away from it. The reason for the old buzzsaw sound is that the fan blades hit supersonic speed and the tips of the blades created this sound. Newer engines (especially for the A320 family) have fan blades that don't need to go supersonic due to their size and bypass gears (I think)
In my opinion I think the two ELAL Boeing 786’s parked at the apron is temporary storage for security reasons due to the war in israel 🇮🇱 and another video I saw another two ELAL 787 parked at JFK for the same reason I mentioned if I’m not mistaken

Wonderful video, can’t beat that sound and view !
Nice compressor buzz! Good condensation!👍🏻
Is it the compressor buzzing or the fan blades hitting supersonic?
Man oh man, that was a seriously sweet take off.
That’s a really nice sounding buzz! Love it! Just wish all the Boeing 737 aircraft on Southwest Airlines would have that.
I always love the 22R departures when I am driving by on on I95, that Singapore A359 is going to WSSS, around an 18 hour flight.

Ive been on a a320 twice i like their takeoffs the sound is amazing
I like the a320 much more as a passenger. Way more comfortable than the 737
I love the way you can hear the subtle whine of the jets spooling down on landing when braking on the runway ❤
WOW, That is a noise I have never heard before,
You can hear the sound if seated in rows 1-5 because you’ll be in front of the engine fan blades.

That is correct.
Reducing thrust settings from takeoff thrust to climb thrust reduces the sound. Just like getting on a freeway with your car. Same principle
That's real jet fuel savings almost the whole roll with only one enjine😂😂😂😂😂😂

What departure time what that
Always wondered what rpm there at and how much thrust will it make?
Between 3500 and 11000 rpms and 22000 lb thrust each engine

PTU- Power Transfer Unit
Why do some engines buzz really loud on takeoff and some engines don't?
I don’t know the answer but I will say that it’s a Rolls Royce Jet Engine and most of them have the buzz sounds. Depends on the engine design i guess

Anybody noticed during taxi The engine wasnt running?😂😂
It's usually done for fuel economy. Th3yll taxi with one engine and a couple minut3s before take off they turn it on.
Same on landing. There isn't a need. If you want they'll run it and add the fuel cost to your fare😅
Yeah, normally they have 1 engine start up and begin the taxi, then, they start the other before departure, it saves fuel when it is needed.
