Prabhudeva says that he gets few creative choreography in his dream, and since we have a tendency to forget our dream, he wakes up- dance and then sleep, so that his body remembers the steps. What a man! God created this man only for dance..

Nailed it... Just nailed it. I know Korbin was struggling to make it as simple as possible (controling his emotions while talking the God of Dance) but he was able to... Just like PD told, he know what the person in front is capable of delivering. You both matched his speed in talking and made him comfortable too which resulted in such a splendid interview. Glad you were able to do this and glad you achieved what you intended to.

This was gold. Prabhu Deva's best interview where he spoke from his heart abouy his art and love. Wonderfully conducted by Rick and Korbin. You made him so relaxed. We dont get interviews like this as some one in comments said
My first interview of Prabhu and he sounds so humble and genuine. This was great interview I was smiling throughout the entire thing.
Wow! Wow! Wow! I thought I was ready for this interview but boy did it surprise me.
Prabhu deva talked about his favourite Tamil film - Kathalikka Neram Illai (No time for love), an old Tamil film directed by Sridhar.
Enjoyed the way a reticent Prabhu tried to explain what dance is for him and how he approaches the art. And in a few words he managed to make Korbin and Rick understand the gist of what he meant to say.
Based on how rare his interviews are, he must have really appreciated your work and wanted to do this. Your dreams came true and I ate well because as I said, it is not that common to get Prabhu to sit sown and open up.

Only after seeing your reactions, I got to know in detail about PD’s dance prowess. As a regular follower of OSR-PD dance reaction I know you’ve been wanting to do this each time you do a Prabhu dance video reaction. But I was always worried how prabhu deva would converse with American Englishmen and articulate his answers fluently. But he surpassed my expectations, he did well. I’m so happy this day happened ❤
Guyssss! Kudos. I love P.D. he’s insanely talented. As a bharatnatyam dancer myself I know what discipline does to the muscle memory of a dancer. And I love your interviews coz you never seem to come from the point of view of knowing or leading the conversation. Keep the organicness always. It’s your best attribute. Korbin I love you man!

First I thought I was watching this video in my dream. I then realized it's 9am in the morning on a thanksgiving day and this is real. Guys, I have watched your reactions to Prabhu's videos countless times and the only think I watch in all those videos is your reactions, not his dance, becoz I've seen them all while watching the movies. Your reactions bring the child in you out as if you were in Disney Land for the first time. Prabhu is a most under rated dancer and someone who has been consistent in creating very interesting choreographies with few pinches of humor mixed in it as a cocktail. He is a Jackie Chan of Dance. I am impressed that you managed to get him interviewed. I could see how excited you both were while talking to him. Prabhu on the other hand was so down to earth, didn't bother to put up a grand appearance, just showed up as if he just woke up from sleep, tried to answer your questions as much as he could in his own way. He was probably wanting to answer you with few dance moves than words :-) His dances speak volume and he is one of greatest artists of our times. Kudos and well done!

He is truly a great man for telling because of Bharat Natyam he is a good dancer. The famous person of each state should promote the ethnic dance form of their state. Prabhu did not forget his roots. God bless him.
In the case of diamonds Prabhu refers to a tiny stone.Who can call a diamond a stone? He is like a gem.
Dance is feeling the music in your muscles. You can be conscious about the movement when you start learning but the goal is always to reach a point where your body responds without too much thinking. I am not surprised at the statements he made. I wouldn't consider myself a good dancer, till my body is not able to "control me" as he put it.

I mean even the Tamil industry who has enjoyed Prabudevas time to the fullest never cared to interview him like this, detailing his dance moves, thought process, creation etc. These guys have done pure justice to his talent and skill.

Wow.. I just loved this interview...I believe he is an introvert.. he is so humble. .. he is a legend for a reason.. I've never seen anyone dance like him AT ALL.. he is like a rubber..his flexibility and fluidity is something else which makes him stand out from the rest..Hrithik Roshan, MJ comes next in the list for me.. and also those funny elements that he adds to the choreography also needs to be admired.. I just love him.. Thanks to Rick and Korbin for interviewing gems like PD and ARR.. they are so talented yet so humble..I love them.. I wish you had interview Harris and Aishwarya Rai too.. my other favorites..

@korbin- You have to understand- that Prabhu’s approach to choreography (unknowingly) is traditional Indian. In traditional choreography/ Indic art pedagogy- its about letting the expression of art to shine. Dance being visual, the expression and medium of expression also being same- if the potential of the body is rightly captured, rhythm and harmony will shines on the body as form/style.
Unlike films- there is no genre for film choreography- atleast in Prabhu Deva’s- so the element of comedy is just the body expressing to the music, the energy of the place and situation as naturally as possible.
That Prabhu brings out the best in his dancers whether it is Vadivelu or Hrithik; Madhuri or Kajol is his speciality.
Only Western choreography (esp classical ballet)- one thinks of movement; and feels they are inventing it🤣In Indian way- masters of art- just try to be in the moment and let movement express itself.🙌🏾👍🏾🌺Thanks for this interview.
Along with the above mentioned names, Kamal Hassan Sir is one very good dancer who Prabhudeva had Choreographed and also danced along with brilliantly..
