I think the main thing is listen to your body if your sore or have joint pain then don’t go to heavy if you feel good then try a couple of sets for 3 reps go all out it’s good to get that stress with heavy weight for low reps it definitely helps you to grow and reach new heights of grow when you are advanced in lifting it sends signal to grow in your body that you just don’t get with higher reps! Trust me if you train all your life in high rep ranges following typical body building programs your growth will be small!

Well Arnold Schwarzenegger trained 4 to 5 hours a day, he said it numerous times in documentaries, all those guys did from the Golden era. of course Mike O'Hearns genetics are so good he can probably train 20 minutes a day and still look the way he does. Mike talks like everybody's body develops in response the same, they don't. also Mike forgot to mention that he takes steroids to look like that.

Do what you like ,, every one is an individual ..mix it up … your body will tell you if it’s working .. example I’ve done 8 sets of 3 reps heavy same weight for each set incline chest after a brief warm up which is only 24 reps over a 12 minute period and felt as pumped if not more pumped than I was after a different day doing 4 sets of 15 reps doing incline flies slow and squeezing the contraction hard at the top resulting in 60 reps .. anyone is capable of taking no more than 25 mins to do a chest routine for example and get the fk out the gym feeling pumped to fk knowing you’ve torn the fibres up good in the chest ..

It depends on your training goals. I only ever train in the 5-6range at most and as long as you balance volume and intensity you'll make progress. That being said my goal is strength so if you're a bodybuilder, you seldom need to train REALLY heavy. Hell, even as a powerlifter you shouldn't deviate from your program just yo set a 1RM though we all do it 😂
