Thanks Barry. The pole I use is the mast featured in my video dated May 22, 2019. I'm fortunate enough to have Oscar's brother Walter living nearby and he moulded a base plate to fit the nose of my ski. So essentially the same setup as in my mast video, but using a different shaped base plate. To try and keep the lens cover free of water droplets, I use 'Rainex' which is usually applied to car windshields to make the water bead and roll off. Not foolproof, but isn't too bad.
I use 'Rainex' Barry. It's not foolproof, but better than nothing. I just checked and there is one for applying to plastics. I've only ever used the glass version, so might have to try the plastic to see how it goes.
Just chilling and letting the waves do the work. Just awesome!
😋
Hey man - this is a great showcase of our sport. When people ask me about ocean paddling, I send them this link.
Goodonya Rodd. That's the best compliment I could hope to be given mate 🙌

Great video. Love the camera angle. Would you mind sharing how you mounted the camera? What pole? How it was attached to the boat?

Also, did you put any product on the lens to prevent water/salt spots?

Some very groovy runs there, good one. What camera are you using?
