A lot of barrel plugs have holes where you can attach the lanyard to keep them on. You can see them on the barrel plug you're demonstrating.

Now how would the barrel plug hold up against airsoft guns? Lol. I'm an airsoft player but I'm not planning on buying barrel plugs. I already have 2 barrel sleeves which is enough for me

More and likely a barrel plug wouldn't work but that's just me. I do both but mainly paintball

Its not called gas tank, there is co2 Compressed air and HPA.
