    Obviously, the best way to get to the beach is on the tram. It was amazing seeing all those cars looking and waiting for a place to park. Quick question: when your tram is fully occupied with standing room only passengers, can you feel that extra weight in the performance (acceleration, braking) of the tram? Or is the extra weight insignificant to the performance?

      I'n not sure I understand your question. Have you never heard about switches? It's a moveable piece of track that directs the vehicle one way or the other. On modern tramroutes, the system recognizes the route the vehicle is on, and switches accordingly. In the old days, the switches had to be changed manually by the driver with a long crowbar.

      @@treinspotterbollenstreek ja klopt. Ik had ook even opgezocht maar keerpunt wat ooit bij het VROM zat is daar ook weg. Natuurlijk gedaan na de verbouwing van het VROM toen ze dat stuk hadden aangebouwd. Dus keren op CS kan ook niet meer. In ieder geval niet makkelijk zonder belemmeringen

    Wannneer is dit gefilmd? Ik vermoed vorige zomer, want iedereen loopt in zomerkleren zonder jas, en zo warm is het dit jaar nog niet geweest.
    Je roept op een bepaald moment om: mensen die behoefte hebben aan persoonlijke ruimte kunnen beter de volgende tram nemen. Daarbij moet je wel bedenken dat de meeste mensen al minstens 10 minuten of meer stonden te wachten. Mensen die de vertrektijd weten zorgen dat ze een paar minuten voor vertrek bij de halte zijn (ik tenminste wel), dus die stonden er al een kwartier of zo, en mensen die de voorgaande tram (dus die voor de vervallen tram) hadden gemist stonden er nog veel langer.

    • @TramMeneer
      @TramMeneer  7 месяцев назад +12

      We never do it in that way. The previous tram (which had technical problems) will be swapped and will enter line service again whenever it can join its regular timetable. We never simply add a tram "on the go" because it would mess up the crew planning and timetable.

    How does the tram get switched around?? Via transponder??? A master control who switches you to the right track??? I hardly hear you talking on the radio!!!
