My Aman 480v doesn't want to pair to job link and I wanted to use my sc 480 to show temperature for indoor wet bulb measurements and not pairing also but saw a you tube video of someone hooking up the same metre and it worked for them what am I doing wrong HELP
I have the SM380V and I need to know how do you calibrate the pressure gauge? Every time I use it, I overcharge system because gauge is not reading the correct pressure. Please help.
Is the only difference between the two units actually just the fourth port and that is it, period? Fieldpiece SMAN Digital Manifold SM480V and SM380V comparison. I will never pull vacuum down a system or tank through the fourth port. I have an Fieldpiece 8CFM with Trublu hoses to vacuum systems and tanks. So I am told the SM380V is best choice to go with as there is no reason for the fourth port and literally the only feature. Can anyone confirm that? I have the scale and the entire wireless charging and Air Test kit plus the SC680 meter.
I can confirm that.. gauges add more leaking issues aswell as a micron issue, oil clogs up the sensor for the micron gauge . The gauge is meant for recharging not for vacuuming. 380v all day
Yes, it is. Extra long wireless range of up to 350 ft., large screen, very durable, and you can pair it with smart probes or refrigerant scale. Everybody love it.
"A product with an IP54 rating is protected against dust ingress sufficient to prevent the product from operating normally but it's not dust tight. The product is fully protected against solid objects and splashing of water from any angle." So rain? Sure. Submersion? Probably not.
No. And that is one of many reasons why I will never buy digital guages of any brand. Sometimes the rain in Florida can come upon you without warning and it will be bye bye expensive guages.
FYI, what they don't tell you is that analog guages will be 2 to 3 degrees off using 410a. Please get out of ac if your not serious enough to use digital guages, as a owner if a 11yr old ac company we don't hire anyone that doesn't use digital guages. Parbablly never been to a ac school.
@@joefriday541FYI I've been in the HVAC trade since the 1980s and I can get my superheated and subcooling dead on balls accurate with my analog guages. If If they every decide to lower the price to about ,$200 and really make them water proof then maybe I will consider it. Until then It's a pass.
@@joefriday541 oh relax 😂 you don’t hire someone if they don’t have digital gauges? All the guys I’ve met who went to school were just as green as everyone else starting out, waste of money
Why don’t they build the OAT thermocouple into the unit?
Can i use the Bluetooth K temp probes with the SMN ?380

No way in the world am I spending $700 on guages that do not even include hoses when I can get a good analog set for $100 that do include the hoses.
