These mixes also do not represent the original versions, these tracks are based from original NSF rips, and are not recordings from an actual NES/Famicom, check below for the original OST in NSFe format! Oh hello! You are now finally graced by the wonderful and still excellent follow up to the original game that started this series, it's Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link! Often plagued as the blacksheep of the title, its drastic gameplay shift and challenging difficulty certainly surprised many people I'm sure, but thankfully this sequel holds up very well, and in my opinion, is better than the originally in both gameplay and music! With a wonderful Overworld to explore, new Moves and Spells to learn, memorable graphics and sprites, this title really has it all as a great follow up, and is always a fun challenge to beat! And of course the star of the show that really outshines the original at most, is the impressive and lengthy Soundtrack! A very interesting situation that for the sequel, Koji Kondo gave his spot of composing to Akito Nakatsuka, one of the legendary greats of the beginning of the NES/Famicom soundchip, being one of the first to compose and make his style on it, and of course, Akito had programmed his own Sound Driver, which is where we hear his Compositions stand out so bright! The Title BGM is such another fantastic Title Theme for a Zelda game, the Overworld and Town music is so splendid and filled with such delight, and of course, the Temple music which has become such a unique standout track in the series. Akito really sets a style and tone much different from Kondo, and it's great as it gives Akito his own identity and what he did for a Zelda soundtrack, we really can't thank him enough for what he has given to the NES/Famicom soundchip, he really deserves his praise and especially for this awesome NES title! There are also uniquely Unused Variation tracks for a few of the main themes, very cool they are still in the code of the game, and as usual made sure to keep track titles as close to official releases as possible!
Like its predecessor, it was released on the Famicom Disk System, but unlike the original LoZ, this one didn't get a Famicom cart release, and like the previous upload, the FDS goodies will be saved for another upload as the OST is slightly different in a few ways, but Akito Nakatsuka really worked the FDS sound channel greatly on that version of the OST, and shows the versatility Akito had as a composer. Also want to throw in a sorry for drought in uploads, life has taken a heavy turn again and was kept busy with personal stuff and work, but if you want to throw some love for what I've done here you can support me on Patreon and get your name in the end portion of these videos, just my way of saying thanks for enjoying 8BitStereo, and will be sure to continue giving 8BS content! www.patreon.com/nikotengoku

I don't care what the general consensus may be, I love this game as much as the first one. I played this over and over and over as a kid, my great uncle helping guide me through the game. I loved discovering the King's Tomb in the graveyard, casting the Magic spell to make the building appear, and finally fighting your way to the Great Temple in the end. The gameplay is tight and rewarding, the graphic and music phenomenal, and the world building was amazing. It's a tough game, but god I have so many good memories with this.

Hell's horses man, I can't believe you are still running this channel after all these years! I haven't came to your channel since 2013 or 2014, but I used to visit it constantly. I'm still getting people replying to some of my comments on your videos. Thank you for still doing this, I'm really sorry I've not been paying attention. I had to get away from RUclips back then as it was stealing all my time, and I had just joined a new band and was also trying to progress in my day job....also did a lot of world traveling as well. But I have notifications set now. Again thank you for doing this still. There were really so many amazing NES soundtracks!

It's all good, I'm glad you returned! Just like I did for these Revamps, sadly been kinda slow getting uploads out, but I'm really trying to get once a week if not bi-weekly uploads out, probably gonna switch to shorter OST's to help with that. But glad to hear you got exciting things going on with your life, I'll be making sure to get all the incredible NES soundtracks Revamped in this new sound! :)

0:00 Title BGM (Prologue) is actually from **She'll Come Back by The Turtles, from the album titled Wooden Head (1970)**.
Quite surprising honestly. Give it a listen, you will recognise where it came from (and likely other parts of it are from it).

Hell yeah, I love when people discover stuff like this, I knew Akito had to inspired from something like Kondo was from "April" from Deep Purple's self titled third album for the Title and Labyrinth theme for Zelda 1.
