You have many nice, lush Dendrobium.😊 I like to see them in people's collections since I can't grow them... and your Neofinetia hybrids are really nice as well. 😊
Dendrobium are amazing and very convenient because I can grow many of them outdoors all year round. The only one I usually bring indoors, for being a warm grower, is hibiki. Obrigada minha querida 💕 Verdade, a Íris já está bem grandinha. Mas é uma marota, dá me muita ralação para comer. Nunca vi um cão assim. Tem dias seguidos em que praticamente não come. Mas ela está bem e saudável e o que é curioso é que energia não lhe falta. Beijinhos e bom resto de semana 😘😘😘😘
@@FernandaNascimentoOrchids Pois eu imagino a preocupação ao ver a íris a não comer bem... Eu aqui também fico triste por meu Apólo comer tão pouca ração... Por isso cozinho para ele de propósito...😘😘
@@josefinahenriques Ainda bem que ao menos o Apolo come comida cozinhada. A Íris nem isso. Quer dizer aquilo de que parece gostar num dia, noutro dia já rejeita. Só se for carne ou peixe puro mas isso seriam proteínas demais. Se tiver arroz ou legumes até foge para longe do prato. Já tentei várias rações também e até já misturei comida húmida da gata porque é mais saborosa mas já enjoou. Enfim, a médica diz que há animais que não precisam comer tanto e que enquanto ela se mostrar saudável, não há razão para me preocupar. Beijinhos 😘😘😘
😍🥳 I am so loving the roots on that little vanda, the 2 that are coming out of the stem, like... whaaaat??? The size of them is insane 🤩😅 you have so much going on, growing on! I can see that your Berry 'Oda' is starting new growths, mine isn't. Mine is a candidate for a complete restart with just the keikis! I think it exhausted itself 2022 & 2023. 🙄 thankfully, she knew before I did and I have keikis to start a new plant. Your winter blooming, now summer blooming vanda is darling! I love her 😍 Thank you so very much for all the mentions under the orchid names! Happy they are doing well for you. Hi dear Nina!!! Isn't the Renanthera cute? But that is another one with same problem as Kimmie, the leaf tops break. I really cannot understand why but as long as they stay alive I am happy. Thank you for your kind words but I am feeling a bit frustrated at times, it's too much work for little gain and I seem to be restarting over every spring. Losing some may not be that bad after all as when winter comes there will be more space available indoors 😃🤪 Hope you are having a restful evening ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for your kind words, much appreciated. I am very excited now as my purpurata is about to bloom with 4 buds. Still a few days to break open but 4 is wonderful, I was not expecting that many. I will show them in a video as soon as they are fully open. Have a great evening 🥰🥰🥰

Olá, Fernanda. É sempre um prazer ver as atualizações. Motivo de felicidade ver q estão bem. Até eu quero ver a floração dessa Vanda, q acompanho faz tempo. Sua Rhynchostylis está maravilhosa. Cada vez acredito mais q não é pra mim. Sempre com raízes novas, mas floração nem pensar. Fico pensando, quase não do conta das plantas q tenho aqui, imagino o trabalho q tem com tantas. 😅 Amei como sempre❤
Olá Lu, o inverno deixou me muito frustrada pois perdi algumas e apesar de as ter trazido para casa há sempre algumas que se vão abaixo. A minha Rhynchostylis também não floriu este ano, pela primeira vez. Com as orquídeas andamos sempre com o coração nas mãos pois num momento estão bem e de repente já não. Mas faz parte do desafio e do charme delas. Beijinhos, bom resto de semana 😘😘😘😘
Hi from Southern California! Everything is looking amazing Fernanda 💕 Regarding Phaius orchids, I heard the same thing about trimming the old growth leaves after blooming. My Lady Ramona is in full bloom and I plan on trimming after to encourage strong new growths. I’m excited to see your Laelia Purpurata blooms and your Stanhopea. I just posted my Stanhopea first bloom video which occurred last October. And I recently added to my Laelia Purpurata collection with several large mature plants. I think they should bloom next season. Love them! I’ll be posting collection updates soon. I’m so sorry about your Dendrobium victoria reginae 😩 she will rebound. I almost lost mine and it took several years but she is just blooming again for me. The effort was all worth it. I hope you are doing well, bye for now.

Your plants are growing so well, i can tell which ones i can't have due to size! like the anselia and the holcoglossum :P
It's a funny thing about the Ansellia. It was advertised as a very compact grower which I thought meant she would be smaller than most. Turns out she is compact, all right, with multiple new growths every year but they are huge 🤣
I can really relate to the difficulty of finding suitable spots for larger plants with specific light requirements.
My Fredclarkeara has been watered against my will by a major thunderstorm about a month ago.
I find monopodial so difficult with rot etc. I have lost two Angraecum didieri to crown rot. So sad. But yours look so great - hope the curvifolia will make a side shoot.
I hope your Fredclarkeara was not harmed by the rain, considering it was a one off 🤞🤞
So sorry about your Angraecum!!! Such bad things happen and very often we don't even know why. My miniature Angraecum equitans is the only one I have now. I lost the others. The sesquipedale started with problems with mushy leaves. For a long time I did not understand what was the cause of the problem. Finally I realized the stem was roting from the middle. I figured that it may have been harmed by the same gust of wind that broke my Den Victoria Reginae as it was right behind. I was another great frustratation because it was already a huge plant and I loved what it represented. The other one was A. veitchii, it got spider mites or something similar and it looked ugly and sort of stopped growing. After having lost sesquipedale, I lost interest in the sick veitchii and also tossed it. I am not replacing them but it would be nice to have a leonis although I hear it is also sort of a difficult one 💝💝💝
😁do you know if the Hibiki comes in a mini form ? I have a very small Dendrobium that looks like a copy of Hibiki but it's not even a quarter of the size (it came without flowers or a name and i got it because it looked strange
Mine has never been big, the canes have always been short although I cannot consider it a mini. Still I have seen others with taller canes. Did it bloom at some point? The blooms will be an indication....
However it's parent laevifolium which has similar flowers is a miniature. It could be it...
