    These 5 minutes have given me more clarity than years of school art class. Thanks!

    its so funny, i randomly stumbled upon this while looking for inspiration to build something in minecraft. how the F did you teach me more of color theory, than 50 art videos and almost 12 years of drawing. i will recommend this to all my art friends, like your series on this is a holy grail ❤
    I feel so powerful FINALLY understanding this all

    I've always used additive model for art. Red, blue and green as primary colours. Shouldn't that be the more accurate way, since these are the colours our eyes differentiate the best

    • @TheLoosestOfGooses
      @TheLoosestOfGooses  4 месяца назад +1

      @@denizwithz9589 in terms of light mixing, yes, but it doesn’t work with pigment mixing. If you’re working digitally, then yes. Traditionally, you’ll have a lot of trouble moving your colors to where you want them and you’ll never be able to lighten or move towards yellow

    • @TheLoosestOfGooses
      @TheLoosestOfGooses  4 месяца назад +1

      @@denizwithz9589 Yeah red yellow and blue were considered the primaries for a long time, and they are pretty close. But its mostly because we had no cyan or magenta pigments, and yellow wasn't very pure until we got really good at synthesizing pigments, and its just stuck around
