Yes you can but it’s best to be in the middle of the parallel because range cause resistance, connecting the wire on the edge or cutting the wire can cause a slight offset to the balance of the charge but that only effects the longevity of the cells life a bit

Is it required or statutory to use BMS for a 250watt, 36V front wheel gear motor and 36V 10A Lithium Ion Battery Pack Electric Bike? What do you suggest? Our FYP project is of a smart e-bike and we have to work on battery monitoring/improvements using some microcontroller. Please must reply, @Tauseef brother!
Yes. If you have more than one cell in series you absolutely need a balancing circuit and a protection circuit that insures if things get way out of whack the charging or discharging current is shut down if any group reaches 4.20/2.50. It’s possible with an out of whack pack to charge up to the max charge voltage and have groups lower than the rest causing the highest group to be well over 4.20V. Same thing with discharging, one can be well below 2.50 while the rest are still at or above 2.50. The max and min voltages are only safe if you have a balanced pack and the passive balancing BMS’s only have a balance current of 60mA or so. It’s entirely possible for a BMS to need a dozen cycles to rectify a way out of balance pack because the balancing typically only happens for a short time at the very end of the charge cycle and the faster you charge the less effective your balancer is.

Morning sir, I have battery lithium 104 pcs and the battery 20A is 2500mah. Total of 25ah. And i want buy 13s BMS and what amp can i buy? I what your help thanks
Why is your balance wire’s connected to bms while your soldering to battery! Every person on RUclips states to solder/weld wires, check with muti-meter, then plug into bms! Also if you want 60 amps output, the bms will normally limited you to 30 amps going into the battery to charge. You bypassed that protection by using P- as your charge wire! So if you charge too fast, haven’t you shortened the life of battery? Why put a bms on it!
I had already checked the output of all the cells before soldering and I am providing 5amp of current to charge the battery which is around 20% of the capacity of the battery pack, so it is safe and even after 3 years of built still iam getting stable output range
