@@Dochorahan I think the current gen RDX looks good, but if you compare it to the MDX whose exterior has more straight streamline design, I'd say Acura should update the RDX.
The exterior is honestly fine! It’s doesn’t look out of place in 2024 whatsoever. The interior (predominantly infotainment center) is a different story though. Not saying they should incorporate a full size screen going from one end to the other but, keep the essential physical buttons and minimize the amount of space they take up. Have the screen come closer to the driver and you’re golden. Other than that, the RDX is perfect. Sort of like Mazda, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
I do follow your channel and i like your Videos, very informative. But this pitch for RDX over CRV is not that convincing aa top end of CRV will give you much more features than entry level RDX 😅
Well done, Have you reviewed the underdog Acura? The Integra ASpec with Tech. Has a touchscreen, adaptive dampers, incredible audio system and great gas mileage.
Price as tested on the Acura was 55k, my Cr-v hybrid touring model(top), was 10k out the door cheaper. That, combined with 40+ mpg and regular gas vs premium for the Acura tips the scale in favor of the Honda, which also is blacked out, with nice leather and led lights, which looks sharp in the deep red.
@jtomtl why should I when I can buy any cx5 cx50 turbo and use regular gas. That and from experience I'm sure either would be.more reliable and save 10k from the get go. Gee that way maybe I could afford premium gas. Cool
@@waynerogers6621 why hate on Acura then? You don’t want to pay for premium gas so I assumed you aren’t able to afford it. Most Premium brands need premium fuel. FYI Mazda is not a luxury brand, they make good cars but not a luxury brand

It should be better given the price increase. Thr only thing that would stop me from buying another Honda over an Acura again is the loaner car program. I've driven both the MDX and RDX and I have a heavy foot and they just don't do anything for me and the type S isn't enough.
In Canada 🇨🇦 version of last crv had black edition with panoramic sunroof...do you know if we will get black edition on new crv? We love our rdx, but crv would be nice for our children
So you can get a "luxury" badge, heads up display, ventilated seats, 360 camera and pano sunroof. Yea that's not enough to justify getting the RDX over the CRV
Better engine (2.0L from the Type R compared to the 1.5L in the CRV) Better transmission (10 speed, no CVTs) Better suspension Better AWD system I can go on and on

4 cyl ? Yea, Hard Pass. $44k base msrp not including dealer fees, etc. After the average American finances this overpriced ride, you'll easily be in the mid to high $50k plus range. It's absolutely not worth it.
You should have compared the loaded crv vs the base model rdx. You compared it to the aspec. Thats not fair

Agreed. The CRV does hold it’s value more than
Both amazing choices. Acura better nail the redesign RDX
Facts
Acura needs to update the exterior design of the RDX.
Redesign is coming probably for the 2025/26 year

You can put regular in the rdx
Used Acura is half and more off the price
Question: I have a new RDX and it says my AT&T subscription is due to expire. What does that mean?
Is there any remote chance, the RDX might cost just a smidge more?
i luv the middle place in the front acura for shoes or purse
RDX also has the ELS sound packages.
Rdx has 10spd and crv has cvt
The hybrid doesn't have a cvt
I like the RDX but the price skyrocketed uses premium gas and I'd have to drive 50 miles for service.
You can use regular but you are gonna pay the price later

How about I buy a 32 thousand dollar CRV?
Only bad thing about the RDX is the MPG.
The premium fuel requirement is always a no-go for me. Sorry.Acura.
I use regular in my rdx, no problem. The dealer said it was ok
It’s for performance. Keep your regular car that takes regular gas
Great #short!

CRV offers better feature in Asia. They have 360, heated seats and also LED lighting. Also has RS trim in other country.
The problem with Acura is that their designs are just like Hondas. They are just not differentiated enough from the mainstream brand.

The RDX would be perfect if not for that class-trailing fuel economy.
Just dont buy small turbo engine like 1.5t or something. Hybrid form Honda is fine.
The extra umph that you get with the RDX is due to a higher compression engine, which requires 93 octane gas (all the time).
It’s a completely different engine, not just higher compression.
This is my next car 😍

RDX doesn't have a CVT
Luxury 😂😂

The starting price for the RDX has wayyy more features than the CRV fully loaded
