This song always makes me think of the poem: "Do not go gentle into that good night, old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light" I almost feel like that epitomizes the entire soulsborne genre of games. It's about overcoming seemingly impossible odds through grit and determination and at the end of it all you get to pick your fate, no one else.
Finally! Been waiting for a soulsong to challenge Lordvessel and this one definetly delivered! Everything from the instrumentals to vocals are quite spot on. Praise the sun!

So, I have a sort of guess for the "world" of Dark souls, what if the "real world" was actually just a painting, and that this is the cycle, that has been going on forever, every time a world ends, a new one is painted, both with the dark soul, but fire always making its way in, or maybe they combine to make a dark flame, making something completely new, anyway, that's just what I like to believe, an infinite cycle of dark and fire.

There is no doubt that this is the best written soul song today, however it lacks the impact like Lordvessel or Hollow, and that makes me little sad cus its cool as fuck
